TECHNICAL: AUDITS/FEASIBILITIES/MANUALS

The audit experience generally includes Shariah compliance audits of Islamic financial institution, particularly Certification of Profit and loss distribution of leading Islamic banks. Development of Information memorandum, covering indepth market research and analysis, for clients seeking to obtain financing facility from financial instituions. Worked on local and international assignmnets inrespect of Microfinance which included development of detailed business plan, market research, assumptions for feasibility study. Assisted in development of product manuals of various Islamic financial institutions along with documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Performed stock count and cash count as audit procedures.

COMMUNICATION: NEWLETTER/REPORTS/PRESENTATIONS

Responsible for timely preparation of monthly newsletter of the department, covering latest industry news, updates, technical articles, book reviews and expert profiles, by the name of Islamic Finance Pakistan having circulation of around 3000 copies each month. Writing Editorials, technical articles and book reviews for the news letter and managing finalization and circulation. Performed as an integral member of the team working for the latest issue of World Takaful Report 2012 having international circulation and considered as a benchmark report of Takaful industry. Conducting internet research for the report in respect of Takaful acceptability in various non muslim countries. Designing templates and formats for the report and newletter.
