issues, and assets of clients. It still has the spreadsheet look of excel with the added tabs of the projects, which can make it easier to individualize the workbook for each client separately. It is a convenience to keep your clients information in one project and not have to worry about missing any important information because of it being in different files on your computer. With the access project, you can use it for presentations so that you can incorporate charts and other data needed to enhance your presentation to the client and it helps them understand what you are trying to convey to them about their finances. However, the Access program presents a great deal of ease when using a relational database compared to Excel. When using Microsoft Access it is easier to maintain your information that you want stored. Access also organizes all your information so that it is easier to understand. Another benefit when using Access is being able to keep others from putting information in the wrong tables and keeping your keeping your information correct. According to "What to Use? relational data structure divides your information into logical pieces, and places each piece in a separate table. Since Access is a relational data structure, it makes organization of company information much easier and understandable. Access is not appropriate to use for all situations. Erica Brock Introduction I believe the purpose of this proposal is to show everyone why its good by improving the efficiency of the current information systems that is being used in the sales department which will benefit Party Plates. See currently the sale department is using Microsoft Excel and would like to move to another database such as Microsoft Access. Team C, will be addressing how converting to Access to Excel will help the company out and the advantages of using Access and the disadvantages of Excel. Team C, also will be introducing the collaborative software and how it is used and what it would do for the company. Another thing that Team C will be explaining is how the change will affect the internal communication and how the company can benefit for the change of software. Microsoft Excel is an electronic spreadsheet program which is used to store, organize and handle data. So it is a grid that consist of rows which consists of numbers, the columns consist of letters, and the cells which is the unit that is used to store data. It also can be used for graphing, sorting and filtering data. (French, 2012) Microsoft Access is a tool used to manage information which helps to store information

for references, reports, and analysis. It also helps to manage huge sums of information. Microsoft Access consists of Relationships, Tables, Queries, Forms, Reports, Macros and Modules. Software that also helps to improve communication includes terminal emulators, chat and instant messaging, and file transfer programs. It is a program that transmits files between computers.
