Product Description

Purigo

-5 S is a ready-to-use surface hardener and dustproofer, based

on sodium silicates, which reacts chemically to produce a hard, dust-free
surface finish.
Suitable for use in hot and tropical climates.

Uses Purigo

-5 S can be used on both new and old concrete floors.

It is not suitable for natural stone and other very dense materials.

Storage Condition Store properly in original unopened packing, away from sunlight and at
temperatures of 5 - 40C.

Application Details
Substrate
preparation

All substrates must be sound, dry and free from all loosely adhering
particles. Concrete should be at least 21 days old before applying
Purigo

-5 S.

Application Purigo-5 S is ready to use straight from the drum and can either be
sprinkled over the surface with the aid of a plastic watering can, or applied
over the substrate with a soft broom or squeegee.
Spread Purigo-5 S liquid back and forth over the surface to ensure
maximum and even penetration. Do not allow puddles to form on flat
surfaces.
Normally two coats are sufficient, but in some cases a third coat is
beneficial. Allow a waiting time of 24 hours between the coats. A day after
the final treatment, the floor should be washed with clean water.

Cleaning
Equipment
Clean all equipment after use with water.
Remarks Remove all puddles or free standing material immediately after
application.
Purigo-5 S cannot, however, be expected to make poor, disintegrating
concrete good.


Safety
Precautions Accidental splashes to the skin must be washed off with water and soap.
Accidental splashes to the eyes or mucous membrane must be rinsed
with clean warm water. Seek medical attention without delay.
Skin barrier cream, safety goggles and rubber gloves are recommended.

Ecology Do not dispose of into water or soil but according to local regulations.

Toxicity Non-toxic under the relevant Swiss health and safety codes.

Transportation Non-hazardous.
