REPOL CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MEETS Q3 2011-12

It is our endeavour at Reliance Industries to create new market by conducting customer meets - Rishta

throughout India, to propel growth of Polyolefin in the field of Appliance, Automotive, Agriculture, Infrastructure and Packaging sector.

During the third quarter of financial year 2011-12, 14 events were conducted spread across 7 States & Union Territories. The major focus of these activities was on Technical Textiles, Rigid Packaging and PPR pipes. Highlights of some of the important events are appended below.
1) A CRM on Developments in Rigid Packaging was conducted in Kolkata on 16 th November 2011. The objective of the event was to promote usage of Repol PP in solid and liquid food packaging applications. The CRM was attended by end users, sweet manufacturers and machine manufacturers. The important part of the CRM was a presentation by Dr. P. Dasgupta of HUL, Bangalore on Developments of packaging in FMCG sector.

2) Five CRMs were conducted during 8th to 12th November 2012, for promotion of Agro-textiles, covering entire Konkan region. More than 250 farmers, Agriculture college students, journalists, Industry members, Political leaders were informed about the advantages of using Non-Woven Mango and Banana skirting bags to protect the yield. Live demonstrations were organised at the farms.

3) A CRM on Applications of PPR pipes in Building and Construction Projects was conducted at Chandigarh on 8th December 2011. More than 50 representatives from Architects, Contractors and Nodal agencies participated in the CRM. They were informed about the advantages of PPR pipes over conventional pipes. The architects were enthused to recommend use of PPR pipes for the new projects and requested RIL representatives to interact with Government bodies to get PPR pipes included in their SORs.
