September 2009 We were in a line for groceries at the local Rema 1000.

I waited
outside the line for my companion and this young woman kept looking over at us.
After my companion had finished checking out, the young woman finished her
purchase and walked over to us. She asked if, we were from Utah. “Yes we are,” we
replied. She told us that she had just spent a year in Alpine, Utah as a high
school foreign exchange student. She'd gone to church every Sunday for a year with
her host family and had a personal copy of the Book of Mormon. She's very
interested in speaking to us further about the church AND wants to take the free
language course we are offering. We were grateful to cross paths with young woman.
We had a lesson yesterday with a girl who converted to Christianity in her youth.
She grew up in Iran and moved to Norway about five years ago to become a
practicing Christian and start anew. Near the end of the lesson she asked about
our church's view of baptism, and where do baptisms take place. So we led her into
the baptismal font of the church, and showed her the manner in which Jesus Christ
was baptized, and the total similarity of the ordinance today. We spoke a bit
about authority, and the covenant of baptism, however she remained relatively
quiet as we explained these things to her. Her silence was peculiar to us ,
because she was so interested in the concept just moments before. After we had
left the baptismal font, she said to us that she had previously been baptized a
Christian. However when she stood in the baptismal font in our church, she felt
what she described as "many powerful feelings," and she "nearly lost her breath."
We both knew it was the power and authority which are only found in this Church
that could make her feel the Spirit so strongly. She asked us afterwards “What do
I need to do to be baptized?” We had planned a week earlier to go and knock on a
specific street. We had knocked half of the street already before and there was a
former that lived there so we wanted to go back and see if she would be home this
time as well. We prayed about it and felt really positive like we were supposed to
be there. Our main plan was to try back this former. We went knocked on her door
