High Performance Floor Cleaning Pad

The Altro UniPad cleaning pad has been specically developed to provide an improved cleaning tool for use on all resilient safety ooring and when used as part of a quality cleaning regime the Altro UniPad can make a signicant improvement to the long term serviceability of ooring as well as creating a cleaner and healthier environment.

The Altro UniPad Cleaning Pad

W  hen used with AltroClean 44 and 44+ and good general cleaning practices the Altro UniPad will out perform many traditional cleaning pads. T  hese pads are non abrasive when used with cleaning uids or clean water and can be used on a variety of ooring materials. (Please contact the oor surface manufacturer for further information) P  ads are available as double sided machine pads or single sided hand mop pads suitable for use with most hand mop carriers.

Health and Safety Considerations

T  he Altro UniPad should be used and maintained in line with good cleaning and hygiene maintenance practices. A  s with all pads, in order to maintain optimum standards of hygiene, the pads should be thoroughly cleaned and dried between uses and stored in a clean and dry environment. P  ads should be used with AltroClean 44, AltroClean 44+ or similar cleaning fluids diluted with clean warm water. M  ake sure that the pad to be used is new or has been cleaned and dried in accordance with the above health and safety precautions and good general cleaning practices.

Instructions for use

Method of use Manual
1. S  weep up dust and dirt, remove large debris  pply AltroClean 44 or 44+ or 2. A equivalent alkaline cleaner to the oor in the correct dilution and leave for several minutes
The dilution rate depends upon how dirty the oor is and the concentrate used (see separate AltroClean 44 and 44+ data sheets for further information).

3.  Scrub with an Altro UniPad attached to a deck scrubber or edge cleaner  inse the floor with clean 4. R water and remove the dirty water from the oor with a mop and allow to dry. Use a double bucket to ensure that the oor is rinsed well with clean water

3.  Mechanically scrub using a rotary cleaning machine tted with an Altro UniPad Cleaning Pad of the correct size.  et vacuum the residue and 4. W then rinse the oor with warm clean water and vacuum dry

5. For very dirty areas repeat stages 2, 3 and 4 above. 6. R  emove the pad from the machine or hand mop and thoroughly clean and dry it in line with good cleaning practices ready for the next cleaning session. 7.  Store the Altro UniPad in a clean and dry environment when un-used or between cleans
