Consult with partner before making a change to either the prototype or design. Presentation: both the portfolio and the presentation need to be professional and well thought out. Finalize everything before turning it in. Tasks: 1. Brian researching existing solutions, build testing prototype, and finalization of project. 2. Kristin create a problem statement; create portfolio, and finalization of project. (keep up with all electronic paper work- p drive) 3. RESEARCH PROBLEM
Needed a system that was able to
purify some water that needed significant purification water purification systems are expensive
TESTING RESULTS
When we were doing prototyping testing with the different water samples, we started off with a turbidity of 120.7 NTU. After numerous tests and adjustments to the prototype, we eventually got the water sample to a turbidity of 63.0 NTU as the final result. However, the machine that told us the turbidity of the water sample was over shot by 1.0 NTU which made our final result 62.0 NTU. When this result is compared to the standard of 10.0 NTU for acceptable drinking water, our final filtered water sample clearly does not meet the regulations.
