Demonstrative Pronoun Worksheets These two demonstrative pronoun worksheets will cover the four most common demonstrative

pronouns and their functions. The second worksheet will reinforce the first one and help the student learn to differentiate between demonstrative pronouns and demonstrative adjectives. Worksheet #1 INTRODUCTION: The demonstrative pronouns this and that are singular and these and those are plural. A. DIRECTIONS: In the following sentences, underline the demonstrative pronoun and put an S if it is singular and a P if it is plural. ___ That is the biggest horse I ever saw. ___ These are delicious cookies. ___ I saw you do that. ___ I dont understand this. ___ Those are your only choices. B. DIRECTIONS: Underline the demonstrative pronoun and put an S if it is the subject and an O if it is an object. ___ These look really difficult. ___ I cannot forget this. ___ That was really awesome. ___ Mom said I couldnt buy those. ___ Did you bake these? C. ENRICHMENT: The words such, none, and neither are sometimes used as demonstrative pronouns. DIRECTIONS: Underline the demonstrative pronouns in the following sentences. Such is the way things are. DIRECTIONS: Underline the demonstrative pronoun or adjective and put a P if it is a pronoun and an A if it is an adjective. ___ Those cattle are running away. ___ This is the last straw. ___ I gave you those books yesterday. ___ I will forget this if I dont write it down. ___ These actors are very skilled. ___ I can readily see that. ___ This fruit is rotten. ___ Give me that hat. ___ That is all there is. ___ Those are stinky. B. Underline all the demonstrative pronouns in these sentences. Do not underline the demonstrative adjectives. There are 10. These are the worst brownies I have ever tasted. That is the truth.
