Honeywell experts use the latest web conferencing technology to bring just-in-time training to your work environment. These affordable and exible options minimize time away from home and scheduled work. Take a single course to update skills or incorporate e-Learning courses as part of a comprehensive training program.
1. VIRTUAL TRAINING (VT)
Virtual courses contain the same content as standard courses and offer the same completion credit. Participants can access this content in a combination of some or all of the following: Real-time presentations and daily live Q&A sessions with a facilitator Recorded lectures with demonstration videos Electronic course documentation Access to remote servers for hands-on practice and completion of lab assignments
2. ASYNChRONOUS TRAINING (AT)
Asynchronous training courses are similar to virtual ones, however offer 24-hour access to all course content for a specied period of time, so that participants progress at their own pace and on their own schedule. Course resources can include a combination of some or all of the following: Recorded lectures with demonstration videos Electronic course documentation Access to remote servers for hands-on practice and completion of lab assignments Email access to an Automation College mailbox for questions occurring during course work
3. LIvE WEBINAR (LW)
These webinar sessions are usually 1-2 hours, and provide a remote facilitator working in real time with a limited number of participants. The focus here is on specic areas in which participants wish to improve their understanding.
4. RECORDED TRAINING (RT)
These recordings are typically 1-2 hours duration, and address specic themes. You have the ability to access all or part of these recordings as often as you wish for a specied duration.
5. COMpUTER-BASED TRAINING (CBT)
These highly interactive CD/DVD courses allow you to access training any time and any place. These can be purchased in a variety of ways, from individual copies to licenses that cover your entire site.
E-Learning Solutions 17
Each certication requires the completion of any prerequisites, completion of a specied Automation College course, and successful completion of a proctored examination. Students normally register for the examination to be conducted at the completion of the associated course, but can register for the certication at any time. Registration allows candidates two attempts to pass an examination within a 30-day period. If not successful, candidates must wait at least 30 days, and re-register for thecertication.

Experion LS offers the power and reliability of a distributed control system (DCS) in a small and exible solution. Because it requires less engineering effort to congure and is easier to maintain than a PLC or large DCS, the system can help plants save support costs per system. With out-of-the-box functionality and exibility, it reduces implementation cost and requires less ongoing maintenance than other systems optimized for very large operations or the smaller PLC-based systems. Experion HS is a powerful software platform that incorporates innovative applications for Human Machine Interface (HMI) applications and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA). Built upon the proven technologies of the Experion platform, it is an integrated and affordable solution for smaller unit operations. The Honeywell HC900 Hybrid Controller is an advanced loop and logic controller offering a modular design to satisfy the control and data management needs of a wide range of process equipment. When combined with the optional 900 Control Station operator Interface that is tightly integrated with the controllers database, conguration and setup time is minimized. This powerful combination, backed by Honeywells performance proven control technology, provides users an ideal solution for process control. In addition, open Ethernet connectivity with Modbus TCP Protocol allows network access using a variety of HMI/SCADA software. The HC900 Controller provides superior PID loop control and more robust analog processing than most logic controllers without compromising logic performance. A separate, fast scan cycle executes a rich assortment of logic and calculation function blocks. Logic blocks may also execute in the same scan with analog function blocks for time critical events. These function blocks may be fully integrated into a combined analog and logic control strategy for uncompromising control performance. Honeywell offers training courses that include best practices to expand and improve systemperformance.
