REGIONAL WORKSHOPS re CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE


Prof Caroline Taylor AM will conduct a workshop on Child Sexual Abuse at St Josephs (Gathering Space) this Thursday, 6th March at 10.00am, repeated at 7.30pm. All welcome. The workshop is designed to help create community awareness around the prevalence of child sexual abuse and its impact on victims. It will highlight how we as a community can encourage safe disclosure and provide support that both empowers victims and the community. The workshop is being sponsored by the Foundation of the Ballarat Diocese. The Foundation was established to enable the Ballarat Diocese to continue to fund its religious, charitable and educational responsibilities utilising the interest from donations and bequests. Presenter: Prof S. Caroline Taylor AM is an awarded researcher & advocate and recognised as one of Australias leading experts in the field of childhood sexual abuse.
