Nifty was closed green up 1.97% Sensex was closed green up 2.03% Last week. Last week US Pending Home Sale m/m 0.1% & US Unemployment Claims 348K. Euro & U.S markets were green, while Asian markets were also green last week.

(up 8.67%), Axis Bank (up 8.65%), Dr. Reddys Labs. (up 8.51%), Ultra Tech Cement. (up 7.78%), ACC (up 7.71%) & L & T (up 7.60%), Bharat Petroleum (up 7.57%). Technically Nifty may expected to up from this point, Nifty this week may range 6150-6350.

On

the economic front, India's fiscal deficit in the first ten months of the 2013/14

financial year crossed the target for the whole year, putting pressure on the finance minister of Asia's third-largest economy to cut spending ahead of an election. India's economy grew a slower-than-expected 4.7 percent in the three months through December, dragged down by a contraction in manufacturing and mining, according to data.

On

the Global front, The U.S. government slashed its estimate for fourth-quarter

economic growth on Friday in the latest sign of a loss of momentum, but some tentative signs emerged that suggested the worst of the slowdown may be over. India's foreign exchange reserves fell marginally to $293.41 billion as of February 21 from $293.79 billion in the week earlier.
