JOURNALISM AND MASS COMMUNICATION CAREER FAIR Wednesday, March 5, 2pm-4pm, Miller Learning Center, 4th Floor Rotunda Join us for the 10th annual Journalism & Mass Communication Career Fair! This event connects communication companies with students seeking careers in digital, print, and broadcast journalism, creative mass media, media sales, advertising and public relations. CAREERS IN ECONOMICS Wednesday, March 5, 6:00pm-7:30pm, MLC 148 Wondering what you can do with an Economics major? Attend this panel program to learn more about the job opportunities and career paths of past UGA Economics majors. This panel will feature a group of professionals sharing their own career stories, and will also allow students the opportunity to ask questions and network. The panel will be facilitated by Professor Chris Cornwell, the Terry Economics Department Head. 4. AFTER ATHENS: LIFE AFTER COLLEGE EMPLOYER PANEL Thursday, March 6, 3:30pm-4:30pm, MLC 102 Come hear from UGA alumni to learn about life after college! From transitioning into the workplace to creating a budget to finding time for a social life; come with questions for our panelists on how to best prepare for life after UGA. DELOITTE CONSULTING 101 CASE COMPETITION On April 6th and 13th, Deloitte is hosting their annual Consulting 101 Case Competition where students form teams and participate in a workshop that will help hone their communication/presentation skills as well as give them insight on the job of a technology consultant. Students who wish to participate must complete and submit an application form by Friday, March 12th at 1:00pm. If teams meet the minimum criteria, they will be invited to the Deloitte Atlanta office on both the 6th and the 13th where they will get an opportunity to participate in a hands-on technology consulting project and network with several Deloitte officials.
