Woodruff Church of God e-Edition Newsletter March 4, 2014

Pastors Notes: We are now into our 2nd week of our time of fasting. I know that there can be difficult moments and I know that the enemy will come at us like a roaring lion.BUT IT WILL BE WORTH IT!!!!! We are fasting for something that is to come. Do not give up, do not give in, do not be defeated! Stand firm and complete what you committed to the Lord. I believe what we experienced this past Sunday is a direct result of Fasting AND Prayer. This is how we will have REVIVAL and the move of God we desire. We pay the price and press in. Thank you for being willing to be obedient to the Lord and following the plan He established in His Word. Fasting is not easy and it may not be fun, but it is spiritually rewarding. The Best Is Yet To Come! This past Friday, 18 people from our church went to Bonclarken Retreat Center in Flat Rock North Carolina for a time of prayer. You might wonder, how can you pray for a day and half? Well, it wasnt continuous prayer, but we worshipped (which is a form of prayer), we taught on prayer, we practiced prayer and then we prayed! We shared, we listened, we testified and we prayed. We prayed for ourselves to be holy and pure. We prayed for our church people, for sicknesses to be healed, for families to be restored, for homes to be strengthened, for the lost to be saved, for the backslidden to be restored. We prayed for the future of our church, for the building projectand we prayed for REVIVAL!!!!!! Many experienced personal revival at this retreat which is what we need in order to have corporate revival. Revive me, revive us, revive thy works. I just wanted you to know that you were prayed for and prayed over. God hears and answers prayer. LOOK OUT, the answer is on the way!!!!!

March 15-16 Revival services with Rev. Neal Nolan March 22-23 - Revival service with Rev. Rick Lairsey Saturday services are at 7:00 PM and our Sunday services are at our regular time. PLEASE, please, please.separate these dates from all your other activities and give these days to the Lord. We need revival.we WANT REVIVAL!!!!! We are fasting and praying for it. Now we need to hear what the Lord may speak to us from the men of God that He has directed us to have. Your support of these meeting is vital to their success. Please join me in prayer for Revival and for these two men of God. Our Church Administrative Board meets every 2nd Tuesday night of the month. This month, the meeting is March 11th. I firmly believe that the leadership of the church must set the standard and set the pace for Revival. So the Church Board will meet at 6:00 to deal the financial things that need to be deal with and then will go to the sanctuary for a time of prayer. I am inviting the entire church to come and pray with us at 6:30 PM. Jesus said, Could you not tarry 1 hour with me? If spending just a few minutes in prayer could mean the salvation of your loved one, would you do it? If being there could bring an answer to something youve been praying about, would you do it? If youre wanting a move of God in your life, would you be willing to come and spend a little while with God? PLEASE.for the sake of your personal life and for the sake of the church, join the Church Board for a time of prayer on March 11th at 6:30 in the church sanctuary.
