Meals in My Family In most families, you eat three meals a day. Breakfast is usually the first meal of the day, between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. Lunch is around noon and supper, which is also called dinner, is about 6 p.m. A lot of people have snacks durin the day between their main meals. In school, students usually have !recess" in the mornin and in the afternoon. #his is the time they usually eat snacks. In the workplace, employees often have a !coffee break" in the mornin around $% a.m. and a ain in the afternoon around & p.m. 'hat is a typical meal in my family( 'ell, for breakfast, we usually drink coffee, tea or )uice. 'e like to eat toast with )am or peanut butter. *ometimes, we have milk and cereal, and in the winter we often eat oatmeal because it+s nice and hot. ,n the weekends, when we et up later and have more time to prepare a meal.
