WORK FORCE DIVERSITY IN PAKISTAN Abstract This research is conducted to analyze the workforce diversity in Pakistan due to globalization, emerging minorities, multi-generation and multi-cultures. We have discussed how to manage workforce diversity differences like age, culture, disabilities, race, religion, and gender in the organizations of Pakistan. Also due to the collapse in the economy elders are willing to do work even after retirement age is to maintain their standard of living, and to remain busy. This creates a blend of young and old people in workplace. Different cultures prevail in Pakistan because it has five provinces which diversify the workforce and it becomes more diverse when foreign people join the workforce.

occurs when there is a wide variety of people with different backgrounds, nationalities, and ages in the workforce. Work Force Diversity In Pakistan In Pakistan, there are many cultural, different language is spoken and with different religion people travel in major cities of Pakistan to search for work. NMCs are hiring candidates from emerging minorities, multi-generation and multi-cultures. It creates differences in terms of age, culture, gender, disability, religion, and different races. Organizations Manager is also responsible to manage workforce diversity in their organization. Due to globalization, people from different countries and cities with different culture, race and religion combine and work together which creates differences among employees in terms of thinking, norms, values and religion. This has reshaped workforce. Multi-generations also leads to workforce diversity. And due to collapse in economy is past five years elderly people are willing to do work even after retirement age. Increasing inflation and economic problems of Pakistan can also be the basic reason. One another reason for willingness of elders to do work even after retirement age is to maintain their standard of living, and to remain busy. This creates a blend of young and old people in workplace. Different cultures prevail in Pakistan because it has five provinces which diversify the workforce and it becomes more diverse when foreign people join the workforce.

The major focus for managers today is to manage the diversification of workforce and protect the interests of everyone without discrimination. According to the work of a researcher four key dimensions of Muhammad Ali Jinnahs vision can help Pakistani organizations manage the diversity. First, democratization ensuring the participation of all groups of people. Second, an egalitarian version of Islam, considered consistent with social justice and equal opportunity. Third, the implementation of strict rule of law with no room for favoritism and discrimination. And fourth, special protective measures for minorities, women and other disadvantaged groups. Recommendations Organization facing such issues must conduct personality development workshops so other should not discriminate different cultures and gender. They should also conduct culture, women, minor and labor rights awareness program Should treat everyone fairly Avoid favoritism Strictly follow retirement plan
