INTRODUCTION
St Lawrence University is proud of its status as a leading higher education institute. The guidelines presented are designed to help us present the University image in a consistent way in all communication materials that are to be produced within and outside the university set up. For any reproductions these guidelines must be followed accordingly.
The logo consists of two categories of noticeable features; symbols and logotype put together. They must always be presented as shown in this guide. Symbols include; a blazing candle with light rays spread out, an open book (as laid on a table) and a ribbon which has LIGHT YOUR CANDLE encrypted on it as shown. FOR ENTREPRENUERSIP is placed below the ribbon. The logotype ST LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY is placed on the right side of the symbols and the typeface is Monotype Corsiva. To maximize its visual presence the logo requires a surrounding area equal to the cap height of S, shown as S. This will help to give it clarity and presence.

It is important that all the elements of the logo are used in accordance with the rules in this guide.
Departmental names work with the logo as shown opposite. This relationship is designed for stationary applications only. 1 line: 14 point type 2 lines:12 point type 3 lines: 8 point type These size relationships are determined by the departmental name length. The departmental name should not extend beyond the bounds of the logo.
Shown on this page are the CMYK and RGB color specications and the logo should only appear in the specied colors.

CONCLUSION
The university logo is not only the face but also the voice of the institution in the whole world wide. This was the reason for the refreshing of the logo. Therefore this logo has been designed to: Enhance the universitys traditional qualities and reinforced reputational aspects; Respect the Universitys heritage; Reect the vibrancy of the University and its location; Simplify the logo for legibility at all usage sizes; Stand out in a cluttered marketplace
