THE HUMAN NATURE The word nature is derived from the Arabic language meaning nature, talent, temperament

or religious feelings (Kamus Dewan, 1998). Thus it can be said that nature as human beings is which that has a natural talent or potential as well as religious or spiritual feelings. The potential and natural ability is latent in all human beings and it is contained in some aspects such as spiritual, physical, mental, emotional and social. Human nature can be classified into two categories, namely physical, material and temporal, and the second is spiritual, divine and hereafter. According to Hassan Langgulung (1979) he states that the nature can be seen through two perspectives, the first is human nature that exists from birth again and the second is the revelation of God revealed to His prophets. According to Freud, he claims that human nature has primitive instincts countdown including sexual content and stirred. Accordingly, parents, teachers and the community play an important role in determining the performance and natural growth potential that it is beneficial to human and other surrounding communities. Next concept is the biological aspects of human nature and one of the figures that is prominent regarding this is Imam Al-Ghazali. He said that man consists of two main parts, the body and soul. This spirit controls all activities performed by the human body. According to him, the main requirements of the human elements are of spirituality, science, culture, and physical power. He added that a child's needs can be met through caregiver roles for instance, parents, teachers and children themselves, particularly in accordance to the laws laid down by Islam. In the human nature, it consists of the nature itself which preliminarily starts since the birth. One of the natures is curiosity where it leads children to explore things around him. For example, when they are given a package, they certainly would be eager to open it as they are very excited to find out its containing. Second is the nature of creativity which l develops individuals who are creative and innovative. For example, the small children tend to draw doodles when given books, papers and even on the walls. In addition, visible openness is the human nature which develops since childhood. This is due to their easiness to accept ideas or suggestions by adults as well as constantly learning to speak and learn vocabulary. The fourth is the desire to achieve something or in other words is achieving the philosophy of life. For example small children will try their best to have strong hand grips on to things like toys and they will strive to excel in academics which can be observe as early as they enter the kindergarten.

BASIC CONCEPTS OF CHILD DEVELOPMENT Child development refers to the biological and psychological qualitative changes that happen to a child between the ages of birth to the end of adolescence, namely childhood. These changes cannot be measured but can be seen clearly in the early stages of comparison. For example, the child development that can be observed clearly is their speech and language acquisition as well as maturity. However, there is a difference between development and growth. Generally, the growth is which that can be measured quantitatively and evaluate by other people. While progress or development according to researches by psychologist state that human development occurs in the physical, cognitive, emotional, social and spiritual caused by two main factors, namely the genes and environmental factors. In other words it is qualitative From the physical aspect, growth occurs as the number of teeth, size and weight as well as other limbs while developments such as skills using physical growth like running, walking, listening, talking and working. In addition, the mental aspect is the increased ability to think of moldy growth. While the skills development aspects are thinking, reasoning, remembering and analyzing things that happens in front of or thought of. As what is seen through the emotional aspects, the growth that occurs is feeling fun, happy, love, sorrow, and laughter, worry and sadness which are born in them since childhood are considered as great. In terms of emotional development the development can be seen through how the child controls their feelings in certain situations. The next aspect is the social in terms of how growth can be seen by expanding child relationships, and foster social interaction with the people around them. Social development, then as the children have self-discipline skills while socializing with others. Finally, from the above trial, we can see the difference between growth and development that occurs in children from birth until the end of adolescence. There are a few opinions regarding the concept of child development. The first one is: the concept of development, the orderly, durable changes in a learner resulting from a combination of learning, experience dan maturation. Paul Eggan & Don Kauchak (1997) The above statement explains that the development would occur in the child's behavior yield from a combination of education, experience and maturity. As an example, we can reflect on ourselves. Basically, something will not be learned if one does not experienced or seen. That is what called as experience. Then what is seen and experienced will be synthesized by the mind and that is called as maturity. The present process of experience and maturity that exists eventually causes a person to

experience the learning process. This means that all the three concepts are complementary in establishing the development itself. Next is the opinion put forward by Karl. G. Garrison who stated that development results from interrelated action between physical developments and learning where they occur in order of natural and universal. This is supported by D. S. Wight & Ann Taylor whom states that development is the change that happens in life legacy. Finally, the development will always occur in humans throughout life and this expansion will occur when there is a relationship between physical and learning disabilities. For example, children learn in the classroom about the numbers and when they are at home, they will likely respond physically to mention all kinds of figures in their home. That is the meaning of development. The third opinion is based on Atan Long who specifies development as qualitative change that cannot be measured but is clearly seen through the changes that occur. This is due to the different nature of the new birth from the beginning till the end. This is also augmented by Beltes, Reese & Nesselroade (1977), which says that with increasing age, the evolution of other changes will also occur, namely in the form of personality, cognitive, moral and physical. Finally, further development will occurs and it could be measured by the naked eye as well as internal changes especially in terms of maturity and speech.
