Feelings and Followers By Bea Augustine Feelings come naturally, easily getting into our prescheduled routines and

sometimes just leaving us with the identity matrix and our former self, while sometimes applying a matrix-vector multiplication of ourselves and changing our power and direction. Then, we may appear like a child drawing of a human that is changing shapes and direction and moving around in an animated movie-like manner. Alternatively, we may gratifyingly continue to be whatever we choose to be, staying on track and accepting the occasional congrats and reassuring emoticons in our social network. Otherwise, it could be just stating the base case of what we are searching for and then, applying the induction techniques that we may have heard about, that would allow us to progress further and to reassure ourselves of the veracity of our concepts and planned routines. Then, in contrast with the feelings we have, we are certainly sure to know that what is deemed farreaching is the reasoning that we apply. Afterwards, we are constantly tested on this; still, the gut instinct that we have is what we cherish, too, leaving us in the field of intuition and emotions. That might be downright alright, if we consider also the details and the trustworthiness of these. Do we, e.g, take for granted what the average person would say, do we ever analyse that average and whether it is in the vicinity of what we are looking for? Then, do we take as truth what someone might have simply misinterpreted based on their limited knowledge or reasoning powers? Do we also search for the basic humanity in other people, or only measure their IQs, when I think IQ is not the prerequisite for being a good person and shaping a better agenda. We might be, too, just surprised to know all the opinions and estimations that we are to gather, from people we do not usually notice or think are just too simple to bother with. We may also recognize our perceptions and proclivities; however, what we do not usually take on board is the power that our followers have, including on us. We often read about celebrities, too, and even when not being a follower, we know so many details of their private life, we look at how gorgeous at times they appear and some of us might simply think they know it all. Do we understand actually, that these are people, who might have their own topics and who may have a different opinion about themselves, their lives, etc.? It is not just reading about what happened on Jan 2nd, e.g., someplace, and thinking we should be bound to have the entire story. Stories are everywhere, what we have on the next day is the same emotion or maybe, a variety of this, coupled with the sympathy we may have for the people in the news piece. We may be reassured to know that someone else is going through the same set of circumstances or by knowing we are bound to get a way around. We may be also just thinking we are in the power of the same emotions as the person on the news; however, it could be we are all just different. Why think we are all the same, except for our humanity, which may at times seem even missing, when all we think of is who gets what and when some of us just try annexing a peninsula or two. Then, in the end, some stereotypes are interchangeable, some folks are just undifferentiated, some notions just stay there and have their influence, which we may at best ignore and simply continue with our plans.
