I am Nikita Rawat from Panipat, Haryana. I was the Panipat district topper in 10+2(Science Stream) with 93.4%.

I
have done my graduation in Computer Science and Engineering from ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad. I joined Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Noida as Project Engineer. It is the premier R&D organization of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology (Deity). As my father is in a transferable job, I have been to many places which have got me many experiences with different types of people from different parts of India like Nasik (Maharashtra), Mathura, Meerut and Gujarat.

My areas of interest are Poetry, playing Casio, painting, organising events, any creative activity and sports
specifically Basketball and Football. I love Painting in any form like nib painting, Copper wire painting and Oil painting etc.

Starting from my college experiences, it was great to be a part of ABES. I participated a lot in extracurricular
activities that exposed me to situations which enhanced my personality and my talent, and I'm excited to continue on that path. I was also a part of the winner Basketball team for three consecutive years (09, 10 and 11) in college sports meet. I won Second prize in Badminton Doubles in college sports meet. I was an active Casio player. I also do Poetry, both English and Hindi. I got first prize in English poetry competition organised by college literary club. I was the Team Lead of the computer science technical committee of my college. I have won first, second and third prize in Face Painting in both intra-college and inter-college events. I participated in Business week event organised by college where I along with three other partners set up a three day business of customised handmade greeting cards. We invested Rs. 350 and we made Rs. 3500 at the end. That was a great learning experience in terms of what is that you actually deal with when you start up a business.

At CDAC, Served for only 6 months though, learned a lot about how a system works. I found the technical
application of what I learnt in my B.Tech. It was this place where I got the inspiration of being in HR. I have seen that if HR functioning goes wrong, every other department functioning goes wrong. It is very important to allocate right employee to right department. Observing the critical issue there, I realised that managing people in an organisation is the most essential part.

I believe in the words I read in a book Each one of us is the total of every moment we got to experience
with all the people we have ever known and these moments become history.. I have got my personal HITS!! Which play and replay and makes me feel alive. For me, my family, my values and my friends are one of my biggest assets.

I will make the best out of my lectures in IMI by participating and preparing well for the same. My one of the
objectives is to read more and more to increase my knowledge. Also, I aim to make best memories with my friends here and IMI. I will give my best to bring pride to my institution by initiating and organising various events. I will try my best to synchronize my talent, knowledge, experiences, my duties and my decisions to my level best. I believe that the kind of exposure, guidance and learning I will gain in these two years will help me shape up my future in the industry.
