Broken Sunday
(Words and Music by Josey Scott, Wayne Swinny, Dave Novotny, Paul Crosby and Bob Marlette) I looked up at the stars tonight To see your face And to feel your presence now I need you here right now A lonely place A windowless room In my darkest hour Now I need you here right now I need you here cause You wont leave me lonely Cause I cant go on You wont leave me broken In a world thats not my home Cause Ill be gone Until forever Ill be home (Until my name is etched in stone and we will never be alone) Goodbye my broken Sunday One love, and one escape To another place Where the pain and fear fade out I need you here right now
(Words and Music by Josey Scott, Wayne Swinny, Dave Novotny, Paul Crosby and Bob Marlette) One more chance to write the book One more chance to set the hook One more chance to turn the pages One more chance to get it right One more chance to write the wrongs One more chance to make it tight One more chance to write the songs That everybody sings One situation were in Dont cha know that you wanna come with me One destination that we may never see again Until we rise again As we reach up to the sun We will try again Until this race is won Give me one more chance One more chance to feel alive One more chance to wind up dead One more chance to climb so high One more chance to bust my head One more chance to get on top One more chance to make a change One more chance for shiftin gears One more chance to even the plane Everybody sing
Going Under
(Words and Music by Josey Scott, Wayne Swinny, Dave Novotny, Paul Crosby and Bob Marlette) Pulling myself apart today To see whats underneath I analyze the things I say Its a mystery to me Why cant I be normal like everyone else Why cant I become something more than myself I reach and Im trying to believe in me But its just too hard to see Who am I now And when will I be bound What if I drown Im going under now Lost like a ship without a sail And terrified to fail Sick of the sickness that I feel Its a mystery to me Who am I now And when will I be bound What if I drown Im going under now
(Words and Music by Josey Scott, Wayne Swinny, Dave Novotny, Paul Crosby and Bob Marlette) Lifes a gamble and then you die No explanation, no reasons why You hit the big stage up in the sky Well see who burns and we'll see who flies Why am I here Lots of answers, but nothings clear Forgotten images of what we are Its like a Twister Spinning me around again Twister Here we go around again Blame it all on me Lifes a short trip on a fast train Put some deal with it in your veins Just excuses to kill the pain There's lots of things to numb your brain Why am I here Lots of answers, but nothings clear Forgotten images of what we are Its like a Twister Spinning me around again Twister Here we go around again Blame it all on me Lifes a short trip and Im to blame Too much stupid is in my veins Any excuse just to kill the pain Theres too many things to numb my brain Numb my brain Twister Spinning me around again Twister Here we go around again Blame it all on me
Twister
Black Sheep
(Words and Music by Josey Scott, Wayne Swinny, Dave Novotny, Paul Crosby and Bob Marlette) I was born into a curse An outlaw straight from birth My mama danced around a fire And pulled me from the dirt I live out in the woods Im not misunderstood Maybe youre thinkin that I wont Im thinkin that I would Thats why Im dressed in black Aint ever comin back Cause Im the black sheep of the family No, you look the other way Ill spit right in your face Cause Im the black sheep of the family One, one sick son of a gun Im crushin you for fun Dont find yourself on the wrong end Of anything Ive done Cause Ill lay you to waste I guess I like the taste Ill take you out the back door And shoot you right in the face Im the black sheep of the family
Starting Over
(Words and Music by Josey Scott, Wayne Swinny, Dave Novotny, Paul Crosby and Bob Marlette) Someday soon, Im gonna pull myself together Win or lose, Im starting over again Start this day like any other day Fold my hands, as I begin to pray Sometimes we gotta throw the past aside And come what may, Im gonna open up my eyes To all my broken feelings Its the only road Ive known I just wanna say to you Maybe I wont feel the pain When you leave me one day And maybe it wont be too late When you need me someday Someone take me away from the one who betrays And things wont ever be the same Im starting over In days gone by I was hiding from myself In all those lies and the truth was hard to tell But I will try to turn my life around Wont close my eyes so I can finally see The road to all my broken feelings Its the only one Ive known You were my heart, you were my soul You were my breath til I grow old You were my blood you were my bones How could you ever leave me cold
IThank

Thank U Master, Rabbi and Bishop of Souls, for continuously showing me the way, for always revealing the truth, and repeatedly saving my life. Also, for your undying, complete and loving forgiveness, which I need everyday. Your grace is sufficient, your love is everlasting and so complete. Also, thank U for my one and only love, my soul's counterpoint and my hearts desire. My beautiful, intelligent, loving dream girl, my queen, my wife Kendra. She is my heart's desire, and all I ever wanted, just as God promised she would be. I've made a lot of mistakes in my life, pumpkin, but God bless the broken road that lead me straight to you. Thank you for my beautiful, perfect children as well. To my first begotten son, Cody, you will always be my baby boy. To my middle son, Dylan, who is just like me more everyday. To my one and only daughter, Britni, you are the second most beautiful girl in the world, right beside your mama. And thank you God for our brand new reigning prince, Justice. You are special for so many reasons and mama and daddy's pride and joy. We love all four of you so much. I can't describe how happy you make me. Thank you God for mine and Kenny's family. The Sappington family, the Millers, Bobby and Vicky, the Lunsfords, Kenny and Tammy, my two bada** brothers-in-law, Timmy and Jimmy, my loving mother Barbara, my awesome sister Rhonda, my Aunt Lee and Uncle David and all my nieces and nephews, Alex, Sadie, Devin, David Lee and Jessica. All my cousins Jamie, Jarred, Jason, Jeremy, Jenny, Ginger, Beth, Jeff and Tammy, and Misty and Dusty. Larry and Freada and Anthony and Suzie and all the rest of my massively huge family, I'm very thankful for you. Thanks to the new Memphis Mafia, Mikey Taylor and family, my physician Dr. Balderama, Dabbles hair salon for keepin me and Kenny's hair looking fly, Sharon Holley for helping me deliver Justice and all at Jackson/Madison County General Hospital, where Jus was born. Chris Daughtry, Bob Marlette, Lisa Marlette, Chris and Emily Marlette. Thanks Bob for being my Obi Wan and "Life" producer. Robert Allen and family, big Bubba Rogers and family, Booher, Shane Dog, Chad and mad city, Blackstone Cherry, the pope of Beale Street, Mike Glenn, thanks for being a great father figure. To all the folks at "Wanted," Jorge, Nan, Reshida Jones, Ryan Hurst, Gary Cole, my dog Lee Turgeson, and Bengi Benetez, also to Craig Brewer and all at "Hustle and Flow," also thank you to my acting agent Julie Colbert, and also David Levine. Also the best managers on earth Bill McGathy and Tony Couch and everyone at In De Goot. Also to our label, one love, to my dog, LA Reid, and also Rob Stevenson, Paul Resta, Steve Bartels, Eric Speck, David McGilvray and everyone at the best damn label in the world, Island Def Jam. And most of all, God bless the dedicated fans of Saliva, you are the reason for all this. And last but not least, if any, God please bless my enemies. I've always tried to treat others as I wanted to be treated. I've tried to always be a loving and compassionate man. So if I've ever made anyone angry or cross, I now ask you to forgive me, as the Master forgives us. To anyone I may have forgotten to thank, you are in my heart and somewhere in my head and you know who you are. And to all, remember to love each other. Until next time...I love you and God bless. - Jos.
