3t Bulleid Southern Railway stoc" is an add-on for 8Train Simulator 2014 (RailWorks9 and you will need to have already installed this software which is not supplied in this product. This add-on contains the following items which will be installed to your system:

A !oach set of "ulleid !oaches in #outhern Railway $allachite %reen& "R !rimson and !ream and "R (#' %reen. () individual coaches in all.

Installation
To install the stock pack in %rainSi<ulator 201' do the following :- 9n:ip the supplied :ip file to a temporary location. ,ind T# )8 51s 9tility program in your Train#imulator )8 5 root directory and start it. Typical installation location in Windows 6 is !:;.rogram,iles(3<7';#team;#teamApps;common;Railworks;9tilities.e3e #elect the .ackage $anager Tab then click the =nstall button and browse to where you placed the $t "ulleids.RW. file. #elect the file and click on the +pen button to install. This will install the stock& scenario and manual.

NOTE:-This stock is QuickDrive enabled. See the QuickDrive Consist Notes on Page 20

#.S. Bulleid Biography

+liver "ulleid was born in =nvercargill& >ew ?ealand. After the death of his father& the family moved to 0lanfyllin& Wales. Aged < he @oined the %reat >orthern Railway at *oncaster as an apprentice under A.A. =vatt. After serving his apprenticeship he became the assistant to the 0ocomotive Running #uperintendent& the following year he was promoted to *oncaster Works manager. =n B8<& he moved to ,rance to work for the Westinghouse 2lectric !orporation. Ae became the Assistant Works $anager and !hief *raughtsman. =n B )& he returned to the %>R as .ersonal Assistant to >igel %resley. When World War +ne broke out "ulleid @oined the "ritish Army and @oined the rail transport division& reaching the rank of $a@or. "ulleid returned to the %>R after the war as Wagon and !arriage Works manager. =n B(6& "ulleid was offered the post of !$2 of the #outhern Railway (#R' on the retirement of $aunsell.

%he Bulleid 63' ! Set

#outhern coaches lagged behind in design and comfort in regard to the other companies stock. To rectify this& in B54 "ulleid built the first of his 7(17C stock (76 ft over buffers'& with the curved body side giving increased width at shoulder height (later adopted in the design of "R $k 1s'. Although they were steel skinned& the frames were still made from wood. 9nderframes ramained riveted (welded underframes only came in in the early B481s'. "ogies were the standard #outhern < ft wheelbase pattern. .roduction of 7(17C stock started in mid B57 with a run of !orridor !omposites and !orridor "rake Thirds& followed later in the year with runs of #emi +pen "rake Thirds and a revised !orridor !omposite. +ther designations followed and continued to be built into the early "R era. =n B57 the "irmingham Railway !arriage D Wagon !ompany were contracted to build )5 ( car sets with minor body modifications (these have not been modelled'. $any of the "ulleid 7(17C stock survived until the late B781s with all being withdrawn from passenger duties in B7<.

In the case o$ the Bra"e coaches you will De presented with a , digit nu<Der. %he $irst ' digits are the coach nu<Der and the last 3 digits are the coach set nu<Der. I$ a Dlan" entry is reHuired $or one digit Iust enter a capital : instead o$ a nu<Der. : Dlan" space will appear on the coach instead o$ a digit. I$ in the case o$ a Foose Bra"e then Iust enter 3 :'s in the last 3 spaces and no set nu<Der will appear on the ends o$ Bra"e coaches. Sets were co<Dined to <a"e up longer trains as reHuired. :n instance is on 5estcountry trains were a 2 set consisting o$ a S#B% and BC was attached to the rear o$ trains and dropped o$$ at Iunction stations to continue on as a Dranch train.

1sing the Bulleid's In 2our #wn Scenarios

To make the stock available for use in your own scenarios you must enable them from the +b@ect #et ,ilters. +pen the scenario editor and click the small blue sEuare in the left middle panel. (,ig ' This will open a panel on the right. Fou may need to mouse over it to get it to fly out. Fou can then pin it open. The new panel has a drop-down list of providers. #elect %ordon$ack. Fou may have to scroll down. ,rom the list tick the bo3 ne3t to "ulleids (,ig ).' The stock will now be available in the stock browser with the prefi3 G$tH This set has no -u@u dependencies. They have their own custom couplings and sounds.
