Drawworks GH 6000 EG-AC

The AC powered Multi-speed gear-driven drawworks offers a design unique to the industry, available in a range of 1 500 HP to 6 000 HP. For hoisting capacities up to 3.000.000 lbs in conjunction with optimized hook speed. This type of drawworks is designed for the highest level of performance to fulfill the latest requirements of ultra deepwater application and onshore drilling. The major reasons are improved safety, optimal performance and control, significant weight reduction and considerably increased reliability. The gear-driven drawworks package consists of the following items:

main frame, hoisting drum with Lebus system for any wireline size, Multi speed gear box, compound gearbox, drive motors, disc brake. Eddy Current Brake. Completely equipped with all necessary hydraulics, lubrication, cooling, instrumentation and controls. Drawworks will be fully operational from a remote location.

Joystick operation with 4Q drive mode Modular, compact design in long or short version. Less noise and vibration DNV or ABS certified Integrated Autodriller as independent system Since several years the Schaeffler KG develops and delivers special roller bearings for WIRTH Drawworks. For example the Drawworks GH 6000 EG AC is completely equipped with FAG bearings. The main features of this WIRTH Drawworks are described in the following chapter.

Lubrication
The self aligning roller bearing Pos. 1 are lubricated by grease lubrication via grease nipples. All other bearings are lubricated by splash oil and forced lubrication system.
