This 5-day intensive biogas training is designed to provide plant operators, decision makers and investors with profound specific operating and engineering knowledge. The course will be conducted in English language.

IBBK Fachgruppe Biogas and the University of Ho- henheim are the organizers and conductors of this in depth training course. This ensures, that participants have the full benefit of substantial and long term practic - al and theoretical experiences, which senior experts within the German Biogas In- dustry are providing.

Conditions of participation

After receiving your signed registration, we will send you the confirmation and bill by e-mail. Registration is legally binding. Written cancellations are possible until March 17, 2014 for an administration charge of 150 € (plus 19% VAT). After March 17, 2014 cancellations are billed in full. In case of cancellations we gladly accept a substitute participant. Participants will be debited with incurred bank charges. If not enough participants register the organiser reserves the right to cancel the training course. If the organiser cancels the training course the full participation fee will be refunded, but no other costs which may have occurred can be claimed. The participants look after their own insurance requirements. The organizer is not liable to personal injuries, lost property or any other personal damage, which might have occured in connection with any of our events.

IBBK Fachgruppe Biogas offers a 4-day study tour. The tour is taking place from April 7-10, 2014. The participants of the tour will get in contact with planners of biogas plants, components manufacturers and biogas plant operators as well as biogas plants with new or ground-breaking concepts or technology in Germany.

Visit of a company treating 40.000 to of animal wastes in their own biogas facility. They are certified as a state approved waste management company.

Visit of a dry fermentation installation with biogas upgrading combining thermal and anearob waste management of biogenic residual material. 30 Mio. kWh biogas are to be generated from yearly 55.000 to of biowaste in future.

Visit of a biogas plant digesting poultry manure, corn and grass silage. It was awarded the title "Best biogas plant in Germany" by the Board of Trustees of Techology and Construction in Agriculture" (KTBL) in 2008.

Visit of a company grown in the past years to the most important production location for manufacturing of self propelled machines for sugar beet harvest. Included is a visit of the companies own biogas pilot plant which was built to discover the fermentation properties of sugar beet.

Visit of a worldwide unique technology of biogas production. The digester runs without any stirring technology.

Visit of a company which provides its services in the areas of project development and plant construction as well as service and operational oversight, and this makes it one of the few full- service providers in the industry. As well as providing technical support, the main focus is on delivering comprehensive service in the field of microbiology.

Visit of a biogas plant founded in 2011 by the concentration of several local and regional actors. The produced energy is sufficient to supply 6.300 hoseholds with electrical energy and 2.000 households are supplied with district heating.

Visit of a company which is focused on special machines for the construction of container and silo plants and sheet-metal machining . It provides everything from individual components to entire systems. An extensive product range serves to meet all requirements of industrial, agricultural and municipal waste disposal, as well as the storage and handling of solid, liquid and gaseous substances.

The Biogas Study Tour will be conducted in English/German and includes sight seeing and cultural aspects.

The number of participants is limited, therefore a timely registration is recommended. If not enough participants register the organiser reserves the right to cancel the study tour.
