Managing EMC and HP Storage Arrays (EMC Symmetrix, DMX and Clariion Storage arra ys and HP EMAs) using array tools viz., Navisphere, ECC, navicli and StorageWork s. Managing Clariion Disk Library and Storagetek Physical Library backup solution. Implement and manage backup strategies, including disk-to-disk, disk-to-disk to tape, and disk to tape. Manage backup schedules and tape rotations. Forecast med ia requirements. Regularly test data recovery capability and backup integrity. T roubleshoot issues with backup software and hardware. Adhere to service level agreements regarding storage allocations, limitations, a nd availability. Assist with the development of strategic and tactical disaster recovery plans (D RP), including an analysis of technical and business requirements; develops appr opriate documentation for a DRP. Develop and implements test plans showing that the DRP meets its objectives and audit requirements. Integrate Disaster Recovery into the storage architecture. Participate in Disaster Recovery testing. Perform fabric switch upgrades for projects for both production and testing envi ronments, working with Brocade 3900s, 3850s, and Silkworm Director ED24000B Swit ches. Perform maintenance functions on Brocade Silkworm Fabric Switches viz., zo ning, aliasing, troubleshooting. Prepare presentations on proposed SAN solutions using PowerPoint and Visio, as w ell as document build procedures for troubleshooting flowcharts. Prepare project plans for various projects using MS Project.

Own operational responsibility for storage provisioning for the data migration p roject involving migration of data from legacy (EMC or non-EMC) to EMC arrays. P rovision storage based on standardized procedures detailed in the Operational Ru n Book and to meet customer agreed upon SLAs. Analyze host GRABs and provide remediation requirements in the form of documents qualifying against EMC support matrix. Play a team leads role for the off-site storage staff as required by the Storage Delivery Manager; provide mentorship to other storage administration staff to h elp them improve their skills and competency. Develop computer scripting and written documentation of storage task for automat ion. Maintain problem and resolution tracking as required by the SLAs and as defined by the ITIL based processes in the Operations Run Book.
