Insert t-e ne. ( M into t-e ( M slot& 6ine up the notch in the stick of +A# to the break in the slot. Set the stick into the slot and then apply equal pressure onto the stick until the clamps on the side click and lock the +A# in. &ou may ha<e to apply a fair amount of pressure% but ne<er force it in. #ake sure matchin) pairs are inserted into their matchin) sockets. #ost are labeled on the board or by color% thou)h you may need to refer to your motherboard layout dia)ram. +epeat the process for each stick of +A# you want to install.

Connect a S T -ard drive to t-e mot-er4oard. 7ewer hard dri<es will use SA*A cables% which are thin and resemble ?S$ cables. ?se a SA*A cable to connect the hard dri<e to the motherboard. SA*A cables can be connected in either direction. Connect a P T /I!E1 -ard drive to t-e mot-er4oard . 21E dri<es are older model hard dri<es that can be identified by the lon) rows of pins on the back. 21E 1ri<es are connected <ia an 21E cable% which is wide and flat. *he cable is usually )rey in color.
