Objectives: At the end of the lesson the pupils are expected to: a. Distinguish between facts and opinions; b. Identifies fact and opinion sentences; and c. Value the virtue of cooperation.

Procedure:

Teachers Activity A. Preparation Good morning class! How are you today? Good to hear that. Before we start, lets have first an agreement. What will you do if your teacher is talking here in front? Very good! If you want to answer questions, what will you do? Excellent! I expect our agreement will be followed until the end of our class, am I understood? Now, are you ready to listen? Show me that you are ready, keep your things and sit properly. B. Review Before we go directly to our new lesson, lets have first a review about inferring character traits. D. Generalization Based on our discussion, what is a fact? Excellent! What is an opinion? Very Good! What is the difference between a fact and an opinion? Very Good! Are facts and opinions important?
