General Information
2014 5th International Conference on Biology, Environment and Chemistry (ICBEC 2014) will be held in San Diego, USA during 29-30 October, 2014. ICBEC 2014 is sponsored by the Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society (APCBEES). It is one of the leading international conferences for presenting novel and fundamental advances in the fields of Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences. It also serves to foster communication among researchers and practitioners working in a wide variety of scientific areas with a common interest in improving Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences related techniques. All full paper submissions will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability.

Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS)

Publishing Organization

ICBEC 2014 papers will be published in the APCBEE Procedia (Journal under Elsevier, ISSN: 2212-6708), and will be included in ScienceDirect, and sent to be reviewed by Scopus, Ei Compendex and ISI Proceedings. One Excellent Paper will be selected from each oral session. The Certificate for Excellent Papers will be awarded in the Welcome Banquet on October 30, 2014.

Parts of the Conference

Arrival&Registration (1st Day)
The first day is all about registration, participants are supposed to sign in at the conference venue and collect all the conference materiails at the registration counter on this day. However, the registration is still open on the 2nd day of the conference within the same time.

Openning Remarks&Keynote Speech (2nd Day)

The conference chair will be hosting a opening ceremony in the morning, and all the participants are supposed to be there, then the keynote speakers will deliver their spectacular speeches and share their

cutting-edge research fruits with the participants. During the intermission, there will be a photo session for all the participants to take a group photo.

Author Presentation in Sessions ( 2nd Day)

Participants' presentations are divided into different sessions based on the conference topics, participants should find the right session room and be there at least 3 minutes earier to copy his ppt/pdf presentation into the laptop and get ready. Then the session chair will start the session on time, and give a grade to each presentation, which should be within 15 minutes, including Q&A.

Closing Ceremony & Banquet (2nd Day evening)

After all the sessions are finished, the conference chair and the organiser will be hosting a closing ceremony, when the best papers will be announced, and the certificates will be awarded.

Academic Official Visit (3rd Day)

On the third day, the organizer will arrange an academic official visit for all the participants, to experience and admire the local academic environment and spirits and develop possible deeper chances for cooperation.

San Diego is a major city in California, on the coast of the Pacific Ocean in Southern California, approximately 120 miles (190 km) south of Los Angeles and immediately adjacent to the border with Mexico. San Diego is the eighth largest city in the United States and second largest in California and is one of the fastest growing cities in the nation. San Diego is the birthplace of California[3] and is known for its mild year-round climate, natural deep-water harbor, extensive beaches, long association with the U.S. Navy, and recent emergence as a healthcare and biotechnology development center. The population was estimated to be 1,322,553 as of 2012.

San Diego was the first site visited by Europeans on what is now theWest Coast of the United States. Upon landing in San Diego Bay in 1542, Juan Cabrillo claimed the entire area forSpain, forming the basis for the settlement of Alta California 200 years later. The Presidio and Mission of San Diego, founded in 1769, formed the first European settlement in what is now California. In 1821, San Diego became part of newly independent Mexico, and in 1850, became part of the United States following the Mexican-American War and the admission of California to the union.
