INTRODUCTION

Organizational behavior in any business is critical to maintain optimal performance of workers, so it is necessary to establish the influence of each of the people who are part of a group, as they relate to each other, with the environment around them and therefore act as his influences within that organization. It is important to know some concepts that will help us understand this issue as are the personality traits of personality, culture, heritage, environment and situations that arise. The following essay will identify and analyze organizational behavior traits presented in a story about the military, it will describe some of the personality traits of a character, the relationship with the plays as well as conflicts which live at the end of the story, finally the characteristics of organizational culture in which it operates that character.

PERSONALITY MADE

The story begins with the main character's voice narrating his story, a man who decides to go to war, no matter what the make in your life, build a house, have a family, get a job, will always remember having a gun in his hand and to shoot. A young American of 20 years decides to enlist in the ranks of the U.S. Army Marines nicknamed Jarhead, by his peculiar haircut, decided to enter the character as it has no other option mentioning a family influence, his father having been part of a group that went to the Vietnam War. Early in his preparation as we see Marin peculiar personality this character in which we observed a researcher personality because it thinks and analyzes situations for which is going through, we can see later Conventional personality to be immersed in a position in the army in which they are organized by verbal orders of superiors and regulated by the demands of a superior, his sniper position in a job which is not solitary is teamwork, which is managed effortlessly to be encuartelad a stable controlled environment: Later conflict countries, which are displaced by thousands of troops including our character study to the Middle East to support countries in conflict, is in the desert in the middle of the war where the environment which had been exposed our character has multiple personality changes caused by the environment itself, the situation in which they are there, the influence of a person who is his girlfriend, and the peer group with which they coexist for a certain time including find a variety of personalities, some reserved and shy, introverted, analytical and jokers and any observer. The area in which he works is blunt in how to act and make decisions in which they are told to do in almost all problems which might have, except for one, the madness, if someone starts alter his mental faculties there is no acceptable solution.

Now talk about the personality which the understand, as the sum of all the ways in which an individual reacts and relates to other people, this is influenced by three main aspects which are heredity, environment and situation, So your character has a different personality in the course of history influenced by these three strands, from my point of view the most significant in the environment which is, in terms of their position is a position which should holding steady, and always stand firm for the performance of their activities, there is a conversation during the war with a superior, in which analyzes and describes the activities and achievements that may be of not having taken the decision to accept the position, employment as they are quiet, a significant income, living with the family, increasing the productivity of the industry etc., however does not exist, and that those who remain in the military do so because they love what they do.

MAIN CONFLICT

Our character has a personal conflict at the end of the story, because it is polite and manipulated physics, psychology and mentally with a goal, which is to kill, during the time he spent in the desert by the conflict, had no chance of fire his weapon, the sniper, is able to perform accurate single shot unlike other soldiers who have the opportunity to shoot a much larger amount of bullets. During this war he is entrusted with a mission, the opportunity to make his shot, which is interrupted by another superior orders, all this leads to frustration of being unable to meet its objective is to shoot or kill someone, at the end of War comes home, a different place than he expected, takes a different path and undertake new activities, these are not enough to forget and feel the shots of his gun, the end will always be around Marin, and even still in the desert.

ARMY ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE

In the army there is a high context culture, which we see with tracking orders without the need for paper, discipline, respect for the hierarchy of positions, also requires a culture which have monochromatic one goal to fulfill the order is an obligation, respect the discipline, value time. A person who does not value the time, and not be able to follow this type of cultures, not a right person to enter this area.
