Post processing Kinematics (PPK)

Center and level the tripod stand and set your base

Base setting
Check the SD card and the battery before the survey Turn on the GPS on the base and check the indicator lights. Power on the GPS controller (Viva blue) Options: Use GPS only New job Check the UTM zone for your area of interest Then we have to go for connections Connections all other connections raw data log in (The SD card light should blink during the raw data log in) Antenna height (No need to feed the antenna height right in the moment) GPS settings Survey Antenna height and point ID Measure Turn off the controller

Rover setting
Turn on the GPS on the rover and check the indicator lights. Power on the GPS controller (Viva blue) Options: Use GPS only continue with last job Go to connections Connections all other connections raw data log in (Orange light should on) Survey Measure (Check the 3D CQ and measure with a low 3D CQ for that you should wait for some time) Stop store You may continue your survey by using the auto option for that give an increments alpha numerical point ID and move with the rover. If you want to survey over any particular feature in the same survey, change the ID according to the convenience. Take the last point for at least 5 minute and measure and store then shut down

Real Time Kinematics with TPS (Integration)

Items required Tripod stand 2 Pole- 2 360- Prism Rover and base (GPS) Radio modem and connection cables and battery Crocodile clips Total station

Base setting
Level your tripod and set the GPS on the tripod short Check the SD card and the battery before the survey Connect the radio modem with the port and the battery and check the frequency on the radio modem Turn on the base and wait for the satellite signal and check the indicator lights on GPS. Turn on the controller open smart work viva (blue) Use both GPS and Total station new job new job Check the UTM zone for your area of interest Go to work go to base menu (Check all the options) Instruments Base connections all other connections connect controller with the base Connect with GS port 2 (TGGFU27 device) Format Leica 4G Base sensor: edit search and add the appropriate GS code OK Go to survey over any point feed the antenna height select GS 15 tripod short You may turn off the controller or it will automatically switch over to the rover menu Do not turn off the GS sensor Make sure the data log in and the radio modem and the indicator lights are working proper?

Rover setting
You have to insert the SD card on the rover for raw data log in
Switch on the GPS rover first and wait for the signal and check the indicative lights on the GPS

Turn on the controller both GPS and total station Continue with the last job A question appear on the screen would you like to use it as rover yes Rover menu will appear Instruments connections GS connections search GS sensor edit and search for the GS sensor (RTK rover) receive RTK device option and tick on it Connect with the radio modem in port 3 use external antenna on GS-15 press OK Go to work survey feed antenna height Instruments raw data log in survey static and kinematic check the 3D CQ and then measure store and switch of the controller

Total station set up

Now you have to use the TS controller for the survey Level the total station Laser plummet Turn on the controller Use both total station and GPS Use resection method set up the total station by giving the height of the tripod take at least 3 points firstly by using GPS and then TS calculate the distances by using the calculate button on the screen. And start the survey
