OWNER Dato Mior Ahmad Baiti Bin Mior Lub Ahmad serves as Chief Executive Officer of Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad. He was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad on July 1, 2011, and is also the acting Chief Executive Officer for both of its subsidiaries namely Bintulu Port Sdn. Bhd. and Biport Bulkers Sdn. Bhd. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Bintulu Port Sdn. Bhd. as well as the acting Chief Executive Officer of Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad and Biport Bulkers Sdn. Bhd. he have more than 50 percent of the shares in the company Bintulu Port snd. bhd. and automatically become shareholders of the company. BOARD OF DIRECTOR DATUK FONG JOO CHUNG, DATUK HASHIM BIN ISMAIL and DATUK NASARUDIN BIN MD IDRIS is are board of director of Bintulu Port Snd. Bhd. they are very knowledgeable and very skilled in the strategy to expand the company Bintulu Port Snd Bhd as they manage others in a time like a reputable company such as Petronas, MISC Berhad and Sarawak Energy Berhad. Datuk Fong is a Director of Sarawak Energy Berhad, Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad, Syarikat SESCO Berhad, Lingui Developments Berhad and Sarawak Cable Berhad. He is also a Director of several private companies including Borneo Development Corporation (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, Harwood Timber Sdn Bhd and Permodalan Assar Sdn Bhd and Curtin (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. Datuk Nasarudin Bin Md. Idris has been Chief Executive Officer and President of MISC Berhad since June 15, 2010. Datuk Bin Md. Idris served as Vice President of Corporate Planning & Development Division for Petronas Gas Berhad at MISC Berhad. He served as Chief Executive Officer of KLCC Property Holdings Bhd since April 1, 2007. He joined PETRONAS in 1978 and has undertaken various assignments within the Group including procurement & contracting, strategic planning, corporate development and marketing. Datuk Hashim bin Ismail has been an Independent & Non Executive Director of Bintulu Port Holdings Bhd since December 1, 2005 and its subsidiary Bintulu Port Sdn. BHD since July 1, 2004. Datuk bin Ismail's working experience and occupation: Setiausaha Sulit Kanan, Timbalan Menteri Tenaga, Telekom & Pos, from 1985 to 1989, Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri Johor from 1990 to 1995, Exco Kerajaan Negeri Johor from 1990 to 1995, Ahli Parlimen from 1995 to 2000, Setiausaha Parlimen Kementerian Kewangan Malaysia from 2000 to 2004, Senior Private Secretary to Deputy Minister of Energy, Telecommunication and Post since 1985, State Assembly of Johor since 1990, Johor State Exco until 1995; Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Finance since 2004 and at Biport Bulkers Sdn. Bhd.

The discovery of large offshore natural gas reserves in 1968 had propelled Bintulu into a leading industrial centre in Malaysia today. Gas reserves at the Central Luconia, which is between 125 km and 275 km offshore of Bintulu town, is estimated to have a total reserve of 42 trillion standard cubic feet (tscf) Bintulu Port is located at the doorstep of one of the most dynamic industrial development zone in Borneo, handling oil & gas related industries, timber based and palm oil products. Its location also facilitates the feedering and transloading operation between various regional ports for faster shipping transit time to major international ports and export destination.
