COURSE DESCRIPTION

Machine is the basic application of electrical engineering. This course takes off from where i the 1st year. The approach is to teach the fundamentals of electric machineries, the concept machines, the importance of electromagnetic induction, the gradual redundancy of DC mach generator basic characteristics, the motor basic characteristics, limitation of different applica methods of overcoming the limitations, requirement and importance of a transformer, testing soning of machines.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
1. To gain an understanding and application of electro-magnetic induction. 2. Basic conception about a DC machine and AC machine. 3. Familiarize with electricity generation principle. 4. Interpret the different aspects like load, source and system etc. 5. Able to demonstrate the use of machinery in different areas of application.

6. Analyzing a problem and ability to propose solution. 7. The laboratory process shall develop a confidence in handling machines. 8. The characteristics analysis of machines in the lab help critical thought process leads to creativity.
