error code 14 Hi I was wondering what error code 14 was on my matrix printer model DFX-9000?

Error 14 hccp sensor malfunction- Its the sensor for detecting paper if its coming from the rear or front. Chances are if you are getting the error even when your paper and setting is set correctly, you will have to call servicer or Epson so that if its within the warranty they will have if fix for free. You can always refer to service manual or troubleshooting guide of your machine upon purchase especially it displays error code. However not all error codes are not servicable for ordinary users due to risk. To give you an idea in solving the problem; present this error code to authorized service center and offer them to purchase the defective parts regarding this error, or you can troubleshoot by detaching or removing running parts one at a time. what is error 16 There is an LCD Message and panel Light Status and a beep pattern which lights are flashing? Paper out? Pause? Tear Off/Set? Top Of Form/Set? Front? Rear? Turn off printer 4 five min then back on..what happens? error 16 means an unknown printer error.. with a dot matrix printer print head failure can cause different errors.

error 07 on dfx9000 printer when i switch on my printer, i get "error 07,turn off printer" message. i also installed a stabilizer that raised my output voltage to 230V, yet no improvement. can someone pls assist me. The issue relates to the voltage. The error reports 07 as low voltage error. The motor (+42 V) or head drive (+37 V) voltage fell below the allowable level. This error indicates a power output problem, or a voltage detection circuit failure. Check and replace the following in the order below, checking functionality at each step: Power Unit ROM Board

epson dfx-9000 Hi I am shahbaz, my client have a printer epson DFX-9000 printer and it gives 03 error plz tell me what i do to remove this error. Regards, shahbaz the SP motor brake signal didn't switch on within 3 seconds after turning printer on. check for disconnected SP motor-related connectors. the printer needs servicing.

The error codes OD means that a check of the print head thermistor circuit during power-on initialization determined that the print head itself is not installed. Some cause of this is again the print head is not installed, the print head built-in thermistor element has failed, carrier cable is disconnected or is already damage, print head temperature detection circuit has failed. Having said this, it is better to have the printer check by a qualified technician.
