This preparation for the physical plant has included connecting to city water supply which calls for new pipes
and a complete repair of water system, new plaster, ceiling and paint. They are making a set of classrooms and office space well-prepared for a new group of students. Over 30 are expected this
year.

Brazil was held from October 31 through November 2 in Neropolis, Goias. The president this year was Iraci Candido dos Santos, a young man who will complete the third year basic course and graduate from the Goiania Christian Institute. Iraci has been sponsored in his studies by the Brasilia church. Fifteen young people represented the Brasilia church at the congjess with special music and witness! Approximately 300 young people registered.

On October 26 past, Jose Alves, Christian Seminary student in Goiania working with the Ceres church since

Edson meets every two weeks with Brother Sanders, in Brasilia, for study as well as discussion and analysis of the work. He has just finished one course of studies and is beginning a new course. He has just begun an extension course in his village.
This year, the five primary grades have continued and a secondary training has been added. This is a special preparation for exams of a three years in one course. There is also a special
preparation for military entrance exams as well as sewing classes.

Dona Iracema, the widow lady who helps here in our home, came in the other day with a wonderfully big smile and told me how our prayers had been answered concerning her son. Her son, Jose, is 38 years old, and has been mentally ill since his wife left him and his
