A Note of Admiration
As we continue to work along-
side the members of the Leba-
non Road church of Christ, we
are continually amazed at how
many good things are done.
Many kind acts go mostly unno-
ticed. Though unnoticed by
“the masses,” those acts are still
much appreciated.
Many teach classes, deliver
food, watch children, make
phone calls and visits, send
emails and cards, and do scores
of other good works that are
only known by a few.
This was brought to my mind
again Monday evening in an-
other town. Our family pulled
up to the Main Street church of
Current Resident or
Christ building in Mt. Pleasant for
the visitation with Mrs. Tina Ker-
sey’s family. The line was quite
long, but, as we got closer, we no-
ticed more and more folks from
Lebanon Road who had made the
75 minute drive and stood in cool
weather to share love and comfort
with the family. I have no idea
how many from Lebanon Road
were there, but I would guess it
was at least 50. Many others made
the drive the next day for the fu-
neral service.
As we drove home, Leah and I
said several times that we are so
glad that we are at a place where
so many would give up their time
to make the trip and then meet
with the family. I know it was ap-

and God must be pleased by those
who give of their time for similar
things often.
We are continually amazed at both
the talent and the willingness to use
talent that is found here. May we
never lose that attitude at Lebanon
Road. May each of us constantly
seek ways to teach someone, encour-
age someone, and glorify God by the
talents with which He has blessed us.
May God be glorified through the
good deeds done by our congrega-
tion.
