CXC-CSEC Information Technology: School Based Assessment 2014

Hi Five West Now that all my School Based Assessment marking is over I am turning to other things such as some notes to be IT theory. But before the closure of the chapter I need to mention some things. 1. The IT SBA 2014 was fairly well done by a number of you. The part which most students lost marks was failure to show the group and sort feature in the report design of the database. I still gave one (1) mark for grouping as it was obvious in the report.

2. It is unfortunate when persons take another colleagues work to represent as their own. Imagine a program statement code had ... written by Loseni Kromah .. but the IT SBA was not that of Loseni Kromah ... probably the individual wishes to be Loseni Kromah but forgot state so on the SBA as the candidate name. Anyway I highlighted the infraction to CXC and the examining committee would make a decision to change marks possibly not only in IT but other subjects which the candidate forwarded SBAs. My biggest concern is that such an infraction does not affect the entire group of student marks in IT SBA for Hillview College. 3. And last but by no means least I wish to extend my heartfelt gratitude to students who expressed thanks to me in their acknowledgements. It was certainly very touching to read and gives me further encouragement to continue creating tutorials. My major objectives were for students to appreciate for creation of computer applications to solve problems and realising benefits for transferring of data between applications.

Now onto the marks which you so anxiously await.
