116/2013-14 On line Applications are invited for the following posts of Gujarat Educational Service class-II (Administrative Service) between date 13-02-2014, 13-00 hours to 28-02-2014, 13-00 hours. The reservation for S. C., S.T., S&E.B.C. & Women candidate is as under.

Note:(1) Out of total posts 10 posts are reserved for Physically disabled candidates. Out of 10 posts,04 posts are reserved for the candidates having blindness or low vision, 03 posts for the candidates having hearing impairment and 03 posts for the candidates having Locomotor disability or Cerebral palsy. The disabilities of disabled candidates shall be 40% or more and up to 75% and such candidates are eligible as disabled candidates. (2) The candidates belonging to reserved category can apply against vacancies for Unreserved Category and the criteria will be applicable as per Unreserved Category. (3) In case of non-availability of Women candidates, in the respective category, the post so reserved will be allotted to male candidates belonging to the same category. EQ. :

1. (1) A bachelors degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture, or Law obtained from Indian or Foreign University recognized by the Government. (2) have passed B.T./B.Ed. or an equivalent degree or diploma of recognized University.(3) about five years teaching, inspecting or administrative experience after obtaining the B.T./B.Ed. or equivalent qualifications (4) adequate knowledge of Guajarati.

2. Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. Pay: Rs9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/Age: Not more than 36 years.Age will be calculated as on the last date of receipt of application Upper age limit shall be relaxed as under:1 2. 3

S.C. ST. and S.&E.B.C candidates of Gujarat origin. Woman candidates of General category Woman candidates belonging to S.&E.B.C of Gujarat origin.

S.C. ST. and 10 years (Maximum up to 45 years, inclusive of five years for women) maximum up to 10 (ten) years subject to his / her ability to discharge duties attached to the posts, as may be performed by any other normal persons, on the basis of production of medical certificate prescribed by GAD circular dated 01-12-2008 from the Superintendent /Civil Surgeon.

Physically disabled Candidates

A Government Servant who is already in Gujarat Government Service either as a permanent Upper age limit shall not applicable Government Servant or as a temporary Government Servant officiating continuously for six months and was within the age limit prescribed for the post at the time of first appointment in Government Service.
