Neale Donald Walsch: Hi, Im Neale, and I want to tell you what life is all about. (laughing)
Isnt that an interesting way to start a program? Well, I wanted to capture your attention. I wanted
to make sure that I caught your interest, because this could be one of the most important hours
that you have spent in a very long time; maybe one of the most important hours youll spend in
your entire life. So, welcome to this second in a series of nine classes that we will be experiencing
together over the next two months.
Last week we took some time to explore an enormously important ideathe idea that undergirds
your concept and your understanding about ultimate reality. What you think about ultimate reality,
of course, determines and afects what you think about earthly reality. That is, how you feel about
this whole lifethis whole thing that we call lifeand life after life will absolutely afect and impact
how you feel about your day-to-day, about your day-to-day experience on the planet.
So last weeks discussion was not unimportant. If for some reason you were not able to be with
us for the actual presentation in real time, I want you to be absolutely sure to access the program
using the on-demand playback feature thats available to you in your instructional materials,
because your thoughts and ideas about whether or not you actually have a thing call the soul
will shape and form the framework of this entire 9-week course, to say nothing about the whole
of your life.
In fact, if you dont believe that you have a soul, you might as well discontinue the course right
now, because this course itself has as its basis the notion that (A) there is a God, (B) you have a
soul, and (C) the two are interacting co-jointly with a particular purpose in mind, a purpose thats
played out in the moment-to-moment experiences and expressions of your daily life.
Let us, then, presume that you have fully experienced and embraced the notion that each of us is
a three-part being, made up of body, mind and soul, and that this triangular essence that we call a
human being exists on earth for reasons having nothing to do with what most of us are spending
most of our time doing in the 9-to-5 of our daily lives.
I have often made the statement that 98% of the people on this planet are spending 98% of their
time on things that dont matter. Now, dont hold me to the actual percentages here because
the statement, of course, is obviously rhetorical, meant to get across an umbrella idea, but the
thrust of the statement is undoubtedly true. We are spending far too much time on things that

Session 2 ~ Living From Your Soul 2
have nothing to do with the agenda of our soul, and far too little time focused on our real reason
for existing.
Im going to say something here again that Ive said many times before. Oh, and by the way, I
do say things repeatedly for a reason. I want you to hear them so often that you will be able to
repeat them yourself, virtually by heart. Here is one of the statements that I would like you to be
able to repeat by heart: life has nothing to do with get the guy, get the girl, get the car, get the
job, get the house, get the kids, get the better car, get the better job, get the better house, get
the grandkids, get the ofce in the corner, get the retirement watch, get the cruise tickets, get the
sickness, and get the heck out.
A lot of people think that their lives have to do with exactly that; that thats their agenda. But your
life has nothing to do with any of that because none of that has anything to do with who you are
and why you came to this planet.
I told you last week that I would use our second session to talk about the real purpose of life, the
real meaning of our existence, and the real intention of the Divine in creating what you see all
around you on the earth, including, by the way, the man in the mirror. I also told you that I would
place before you this week seven simple questions, questions that could change everything in
your experience.
Now, those of you who have read my book titled The Storm Before the Calm or who have heard
me lecture before, have attended my workshops perhaps or retreats, as well as those of you who
have taken a course with me before, may be familiar with those seven simple questions. And if
you are familiar with them, youll also know two things that I have said about them: rst, that they
can change the world if theyre asked and answered by everyone; second, that they should be
asked and answered by everyone every day.
This questioning should not be thought of as something like getting your tonsils out, once its
done, its done. Only when the internal questioning process is ongoing can it have the impact
and the efect that it has designed to have. That is why I have been encouraging people to take a
deep look at these questions. There are seven of them, and the last four of them Ive been talking
about for a number of years, in books, in lectures, in other courses, but the rst three inquiries that
I have included here I have never included in any other course like this before, and only recently
have I been including them in my lectures, because these three questions only recently have
been given to me to ask.
The questions were placed before me in a moment of deep inspiration and connection with God.
These rst three questions in particular have never been asked or answered, have never been
explored in any real depth by the political, religious, economic, educational, environmental, or
social leaders of our time. None of those peopleread that, none of themhave placed these
questions, much less their answers, before the audiences whose attention they hold. Im talking
here about opinion makers and opinion leaders, the opinion leaders of the world, people who
are often called, in certain circles, centers of inuence, or COIs. These are people to whom a
large portion of the populace looks for insight, for wisdom, for guidance, for clarity, and, yes, even
for direction. Yet with regard to these questions, they have given us none of that; no wisdom,
no insight, no clarity, no direction, not even their best thought about it. Nothing. They have said

Session 2 ~ Living From Your Soul 3
nothing about these questions, because they dare not address them; they dare not even bring
them up, or their whole world would come tumbling down.
But we are going to address these questions here, and Im going to invite you to answer them:
Question Number One: How is it possible for 6.9 billion people to say they all want the same
thing and be unable to get it?
Let me repeat that so you can have the full impact, get really the total impact of that question. As
an evolving species of sentient beings, lling an entire planet and having lived on the earth for
thousands of years, we are invited at last to explore, this remarkable question: How is it possible for
6.9 billion of us to all want the same thingsurvival, safety, security, peace, prosperity, opportunity,
happiness, and loveand for us to be unable to produce it, even after trying for thousands of
years? I mean, its not like weve been trying to produce these outcomes a few months or for a few
years or a few decades or even a few centuries. Weve been trying to produce these outcomes
for thousands and thousands of years.
You know, if this were a science experiment, we would have given it up long ago. We would have
concluded that either the experiment is simply incapable of producing the outcomes weve been
trying to produce or theres something we dont know about this experiment, theres some data
missing that prevents us from creating the outcomes were looking to create, all of which brings
us to the second question. Is it possible that theres something we dont fully understand here, the
understanding of which would change everything?
After yearning for and doing everything we can to produce peace, prosperity, opportunity,
security, health, happiness, joy, and loveafter failing to produce these things for all but the
tiniest handful of human beings, do you suppose it may be logical for us to conclude that there
may be something we dont fully understand here about God and about Life, the understanding
of which would change everything?
Why arent we looking at that? Why do we keep looking the other way?
Well, now, as it relates to your own personal life, youre going to have a chance to stop looking
away and start looking directly at the answer. And I believe that part of that answer has to do with
you and with me and with how we each see ourselves and see each other in the context of the
life that were living.
That brings us to the third question: Is it possible that theres something we dont fully understand
about ourselves, about who we are, the understanding of which would change our lives forever
for the better?
Ive been told that the answer to that question is yes. And furthermore, that these three questions
are the key to everything. Thats why Ive come to call them the three persistent questions,
because the questions themselves will just not go away, even though no one wants to ask them;
probably because no one wants to ask them. They nag at us. We wonder about them. We yearn
to have them answered. We seek people who might supply us with answers to them, give us at
least some suggestions, some recommendations, some ideas about them.

Session 2 ~ Living From Your Soul 4
Yet, interestingly, as I have observed before, those few who have done this, those few who
have ventured to ofer us their insights about these matters, have been vilied. They have been
criticized. They have been marginalized. And some of them have been killed.
And so while we say we want answers to lifes most persistent questions, we attack those who
give them to us or who even ofer us their best ideas on the subject. Small wonder that leaders
shy away from the most profound questions of life and dabble only in those issues which mean,
in the end, very little, if anything at all.
Yet the course that youre now taking does not have as its intention the placing of an indictment.
Were not trying to indict the whole human race here. What were trying to do in this course is
simply place before you an invitation not to attack yourself when you venture to give yourself the
answers to these questions, because this, too, has been happening all over the world. People ask
themselves these deeply troubling questions, and they give themselves the answers . . . you have
the answers to these questions inside of you right now. You can ask the still, small voice within
to give you those answers, but when people give themselves these answers, they proceed to
marginalize, ridicule, criticize, and even, in a sense, kill those ideas themselves and the wisdom
and the clarity and the insight that they have just received. Have you done that to yourself? Have
you found yourself asking yourself lifes deepest questions, giving yourself the answers, hearing
those answers clearly and with the purity that only your soul could bring to you, and then denying
your own wisdom? Saying things like, Well, I just imagined that. The world knows better than I do.
What can I possibly know about all of this? Have you done that?
If youve done that, youve given your power away to those that we imagine to be in the know.
Sadly, they are not in the know, no more in the know than we are. They know nothing more
than we know. Now thats an interesting statement because, of course, we know everything. Its
not a question of what we know, its a question of what we choose to act on, based on what we
remember of the data that resides in the total knowing of the soul.
By your decision to take this course, to participate in it actively over two months of your life, you
have made it clear that you stand in a place of commitment to never again ignore or doubt the
wisdom of your higher self. Thats good. Thats very good. Now we have a mutual basis on which
to proceed in this remarkable program over the weeks just ahead. Well begin by focusing your
attention on those three persistent questions. I want to give you those questions again. This time
you may actually want to write them down.
Number One: How is it possibleIm going to say the questions slowly to you so you can write
them downhow is it possible for 6.9 billion people now living upon the earth to all say they
want the same thing and be absolutely unable to produce it for any but the tiniest minority of our
species?
Number Two: Is it possiblejust possiblethat theres something very, very important about
God and about life that we dont fully understand, the understanding of which would change
everything?

Session 2 ~ Living From Your Soul 5
Number Three: Is it possiblejust possiblethat theres something we do not fully understand
about ourselves and who we are, the understanding of which would change our lives for the
better forever?
Now, dont seek to answer those questions now. Simply write them down and prepare to ask
yourself these questions later as part of your assignment for next week. Okay? You got them?
Good.
Now, following these three persistent questions are what I call four fundamental questions of life.
Together, they make up the seven simple questions that could change the world. These last four
questions Ive asked before in lectures and classes and workshops over the past several years.
Im not shy about asking them again, because, as I explained, its only through our repeated and
eager encounter with these questions that our personal transformation can take place.
So here are the four fundamental questions of life:
Number One: Who am I?
Number Two: Where am I?
Number Three: Why am I where I am?
Number Four: What do I intend to do about that?
Now, one last time, let me say, you must ask yourself these questions at least once every day; yes,
even if youve already given them your best answer.
Okay. Now, I said to you when I opened this lesson that were going to explore together here the
true meaning of life. Let us do so here and now, using the seven simple questions as our road
map and our format. Im going to be very presumptuous now. I am going to give you my answers
to these questions. And let me make a point here. Im going to provide you with these answers,
not as the nal word on the subject but as a means of opening up a larger discussion. Through
that discussion, I hope that well be able to embark upon a larger exploration of the meaning and
the purpose of life itself.
Okay, here we go:
Question Number One: How is it possible for 6.9 billion people to all say they want the same
thing and be unable to get it? Simple. Theyre all after the wrong thing. Theyre all after peace,
health, security, prosperity, happiness, joy, love. They all want these prizes so badso muchthat
theyll do almost anything to get them. They have done almost anything and everything to get
them. Theyve hurt, cheated, lied, stolen, damaged, destroyed, even killed, in order to get them.
And even after they have them, they havent found a way to hold on to them. After such a huge
cost, theyve been unable to win the prize; that is, human beings have not been able to win this
big prize that everyone is after, except for the smallest number of people. And, as I just said, even
that tiny percentage that winds up gathering one or two of those prizes cant hold on to them.

Session 2 ~ Living From Your Soul 6
The irony of this is that God has told us from the very beginning that these are not the big prizes of
life at all. In fact, they have nothing to do with why we are here, yet we keep going after and going
after these prizes as if that was, in fact, our purpose on earth. What a gigantic misunderstanding!
And now, at last, here is some clarity: each of us has a soul. Our souls agenda is what we came to
the earth to complete. That agenda has nothing to do with any of the things that our mind keeps
telling us we should be seeking; yet fullling the souls agenda can magically produce these
things as a secondary efect.
Its amazing to me that the human race has not gured this out by now. You would think that a
species of reasonably intelligent people would wonder why, after thousands and thousands of
years cant help it. Ive got to say it again and againwhy, after thousands and thousands of
years, our species cant produce a fairly simple outcome; an outcome as simple as life without
killing each other or a population without starvation or a planet without ongoing and continuing
misery for the largest number of its occupants. You would think that an intelligent species would
wonder why. Why? Why cant we do something as relatively simple as that?

Well, for those who have listened to Gods latest conversations with humanity, the wondering can
now be over. The reason that humanity cannot produce these simple outcomesIm going to say
it again; you may have missed itthe reason is because were going after the wrong thing. Were
trying to produce the wrong outcomes.
Look, we did not come to physicality upon the earth in order to experience peace, health,
prosperity, happiness, joy, and love. Those are sandbox toys in the kindergarten of metaphysics.
The human soul, which is a direct expression and a singular individuation of Divinity, entered into
physicality that it might use the other two parts of its three-part being, namely, the body and the
mind, in order to create an unlimited experience of Divinity, not a limited experience of humanity.
Put another way, your soul is here on a mission from God. That mission is to provide the totality
that is God with a direct experience of what it means to be divine. Your soul does this through
the expression of the essential energy of life within the contextual eld known as relativity in
particular ways that allow God Itself to see Itself and to feel Itself in action. The entire Universe is
a means by which Divinity may express and experience itself.
This is certainly not a new idea to the inhabitants of the earth. Its absolutely not a new idea to
readers of Conversations with God. Its not even a new idea for those who are not familiar with
the CWG cosmology. The idea that the world and the Universe is Gods means of self-expression
is as old as the hills. What is new is the determination of an increasing number of people to place
this idea into expression, to make it part of our living reality, to come from this awareness in every
thought, word, and action. This is what is new. This is what humans in the rst quarter of the 21st
century are now been invited to embrace as their very reason for their existence. And the promise
behind this invitation is if and when they do, all the other things that they used to be focused
on, that they used to be searching for, that they used to be striving to obtain, will fall in on them
automatically. These once-sought-after prizes will come to them virtually without efort on their
part.

Session 2 ~ Living From Your Soul 7
Somebody with much more eloquence than I will ever have put this quite wonderfully a few years
ago when he said, Seek ye rst the kingdom of heaven, and all else will be added unto you.
The essential message of Conversations with God is very simple and can be reduced to a few
well-chosen pronouncements. And revisiting them over and over again, placing them into your
mind more rmly will move them into your reality more completely.
So now we understand why nearly 7 billion peopleIm told that the number is actually closer
to 7 billionwhy over 7 billion people have been unable to produce what they say they all want.
Its because what they want has nothing to do with what they came for, with why theyre here on
earth for. Yet when we achieve what we came here to achieveIm going to repeat this nowyet
when we achieve what we came here to achieve, what we now say we want will be ours to enjoy.
This is the 1,000 years of peace that has been prophesized. It will come to pass when we change
our priorities as a species. And thats a process that will happen one by one. And someone is
going have to go rst. That someone can be you.
The answer to the second of the three persistent questions is equally simple and just as profound.
Again, the question is: is it possible that theres something we dont fully understand about God
and about Life, the understanding of which would change everything? The answer, again, is yes. It
is possible. And it has, in fact, been the condition in which we have been living for millennia. What
we dont understand is who and what God is, what God wants, and the real and true purpose of
life.
Most of us clearly understand that God is not a very big . . . a very large, handsome man in the
sky, with a long white beard and a owing robe, sitting on a golden throne in a bejeweled room
someplace, surrounded by wing-apping angels. Yet while were pretty clear about what God is
not, we are not very clear about what God is. So lets see what God has to say on this subject.
In Conversations with God, God made it clear that God is without gender or substance in the way
that we know it. God is, rather, that of which all things are made, the essential essence of which
everything in existing, of which everything is comprised. That is God. And that essence contains
supreme intelligence and total awareness and absolute power. It is omnipresent and omniscient. It
is everywhere because it is everything that exists in any place at all. It knows everything because,
without that which it knows, nothing that exists could come into being. It is the Source and the
Substance at once; it is the Creator and Created. It always was, is now, and always will be. It
knows no beginning and no end. There is nothing that exists outside of it and there is nothing that
exists inside of it without it. That is, simply put, there is nothing that is not God.
This essential essence uses itself to re-create itself and calls upon itself to empower itself, to be
itself, all by itself. It needs nothing, requires nothing, demands nothing, punishes nothing, for what
could it possibly need? What could it, in any case, require? And why would it demand anything?
And who, pray tell . . . who in the world would it command or punish? That which has everything
and is everything and wants and needs nothing holds only one desire: to express and to know
itself through the glorious experience of itself and to create this possibility. Thats the reason that
life, as we know it, was created.

Session 2 ~ Living From Your Soul 8
Every human being who has stepped into this living, into the expression of this possibility, has
achieved all the things that we as a sentient species say that we want to achieve, and they have
done so without hurting or damaging anyone; without killing anyone. We say they have lived the
lives of saints, yet they have merely lived life as it was intended to be lived; a way in which most
human beings have adamantly refused to live, for the most ironic reason of all: we think it is too
good to be true.
What could change our mind about this? What could alter our realities? By being the new reality
and placing it on the ground in our daily life, from moment to moment, with person after person.
Thats all the Buddha did. Thats all that Lao Tzu did. That is all that Jesus did. That is all that
Muhammad did. This is all that the great saints and sages across the span of time have ever done.
This is all that Julian of Norwich did. This is all that Hildegard of Bingen did. That is all that Mother
Teresa did. And more people than you have ever imagined have done this. For many of us, this
is all that your own mother did. I sometimes think that only a person who has actually given birth
could really know how to treat life. Why dont listen to the women around us? I will never know.
Men, too, are, of course, creators of life and they, too, hold a sacred imprinting regarding life
itself. Across the span of human history, we have made it exceedingly difcult for men to access
the most tender aspect of themselves without shame and without ridicule. Those who have,
have changed the world. Those who will, can do so again, joining with women to collaboratively
create a new kind of human; a human with neither predominantly male nor female traits, but with
prominently divine traits.
And therein lies the answer to the third persistent question. Remember that third question? Is it
possible that theres something we dont fully understand about ourselves and about who we
are, the understanding of which would change our lives for the better forever? Yes, of course,
there is. What we dont understand is that we are divine; neither male nor female, neither gay nor
straight, neither black nor white, nor anything at all other than the totality of divinity, gloriously and
individually expressed, singularly and identiably united.
The statement we are all one from the Conversations with God material is more than a simple
aphorism. Its a statement of fundamental and absolute and eternal truth. And it means, not only
that we are all one with each other, but that we are all one with The Only Thing There Is. I tell you
this: There is nothing else but God. And it is only our thought that there is something else that
creates the hell on earth in which we live. Let us see then what we might more clearly and deeply
understand about this life on earth that we have created here, so that we might change it if we
wish.
The four fundamental questions of life place into our mind, whenever and wherever they are
asked and answered, a succinct and powerful message. That message can alter the very way we
move through the world, the way that we encounter the next moment of our life, the way that we
deal with the next challenge, the way that we solve the next problem, the that way we experience
the next person, and the way we produce the next outcome.
The rst of those four fundamental questions is: who am I? Ive already answered that question.
It is what we dont understand about ourselves, or, if we do understand it, weve chosen not to
embrace it, or, if we have chosen to embrace it, we have not found a way to apply.

Session 2 ~ Living From Your Soul 9
Who we areas Ive been saying now repeatedlyis divinity itself. We are as a drop of water is
to the ocean: part and parcel of The All, yet not the sum of The All, not the same as all of it, made
of the same stuf, but not equal to all the stuf, powerful in proportion to our size, yes. That is, we
have the same ability to afect our own lives that the totality of God has to afect all of Life. That
is who we are.
The second of the four fundamental questions is: where am I? This question requires a somewhat
detailed and sophisticated answer, so bear with me as we move through it. And if you have any
questions, write them down; save them for asking yourself later. Did you hear what I said? I said
save them for asking yourself later because you yourself have the answers deep inside of you.
Thats a secret I want to share with you. Any question you ask yourself will be answered by the
part of yourself that already knows the answer.
So here is my understanding of where we all are: we are in the realm of the physical. I sometimes
also call this the realm of the relative. We came from the spiritual realm, which I also call the realm
of the absolute. Now, the realm of the physical is one of three locations in the kingdom of God, if
you will. I can only explain this using human terms, so Im going to have to do the best that I can
trying to explore super-human and extra-human realities with limited human vocabulary.
The locations in the kingdom of God, as I have been made to understand them, are the realm of
the spiritual, the realm of the physical, and the realm of pure being. Again, in my mind I sometimes
see these as a triangle; the realm of the spiritual, the real of the physical and the realm of pure
being. Alternatively, I often refer to theseas I mentioned beforeas the realm of the absolute,
the realm of the relative, and the realm of unied reality.
Have I not told you that in my kingdom there are many mansions? Yes. Yes, we have been told
that. But, once again, we have not believed. We would rather believe that there is only one place
in the kingdom of God, and we call that place heaven. Some of us believe that there is another
place, a second place, that is outside the kingdom of God, and we call that place hell or hades or
gehenna.
I know that this is not news to you, but it is always good to be reminded when we are entertaining
thoughts such as these, that theres no such place as hell, so lets be clear about that. Hell does
not exist. There is no such place inside or outside the kingdom of God.
So now we are in the realm of the physical, where everything exists in relative terms: fast and
slow, up and down, left and right, before and after, dark and light, here and there, male and
female created He them. We have been here before, and we will come here again. And when I
say here, I do not mean to limit that word to references that include only this planet. The realm
of the physical includes the entire physical universe; the whole of the known universe. By the
way, scientists and physicists are now telling us that there isyou ready for this?more than one
universe; that we actually live in an ultimate reality made up of multiple universes. And so, it is in
a multiverse, if you will, in which we live and breathe and have our being.
And yet, as minuscule as we might imagine ourselves to be within the context of such an
incomprehensibly enormous physical reality, we have all been given the same power, the power

Session 2 ~ Living From Your Soul 10
that has come to us from that which created us, for God so loved the world that she gave every
begotten son and daughter eternal life and the power to create his or her own reality. Which
brings us to the next question.
Why are we where we are? We look now at who are we, where are wein the realm of the
physicaland now we take a look at, why are we where we are?
We have placed ourselves in the realm of physicality because it is the location within the kingdom
of God that has been signicantly, specially and elegantly created to allow us to express,
demonstrate, and experience our divinity. What makes it possible for us to do that here in the
realm of the physical is the very fact of relativity. You see, in the realm of the absolute, things
exist in singular form. All there is is love. Its always here and now. Divinity is all there is. Yet in the
absence of that which is not, that which is, is not. Put more directly, in the absence of that which
is not divinity, that which is divinity cannot be experienced.
To make this even easier to understand, considering the following: you cant experience the light
if there is a complete absence of darkness. You cannot experience up in the complete absence
of down. You cannot experience here if there was nothing over there.
In the realm of the absolute, there is a complete absence of all of these things. Everything exists
in singular, absolute form. A thing is what it is, and it is all of it at once. That is, in the self-same
moment. Every aspect of its essence is expressed simultaneously. There is no such thing as time.
There is no such thing as space. There is only here and now and everything always, manifesting
completely simultaneously.
Under these conditions, its possible to know who you are, but its impossible to experience who
you are. In order to experience who you are, you would have to place yourself in an environment
where who you are not existed. Such an environment is no place to be found, since God is
everything and everywhere. Ah, but God solved that problem. God resolved that conundrum. God
simply imbued its totality with the ability to diferentiate and to do so in such an innite number of
ways that it could determine for itself which ways its Individuations could choose to call divine
and which ways they could choose to label as other than divine. This expression of free choice
allowed God to dene itself through the expression of itself and to rene what it dened through
a process called evolution.
By this process, it could express and experience Itself in all of its aspects, then select which of
those aspects brought it the most joy, and then move into the experiencing and the expressing of
that aspect in relationship to other aspects of lifes fundamental energies.
Wrapping all of this up in a single sentence: the tri-part being that we are, comprised of body,
mind and soul, has entered the realm of the physical from the realm of the spiritual in order to
use the tools of relativity to decide who and what it chooses to be and to experience and then
to express that choice through the device of physicality. That is why you and I are here. Our
mission, should we choose to accept it, is to become God-like on the earth, according to our own
denition of what it is to be that and what it means to be Divine. In this we have, as Ive noted,
absolute free will. And we have been engaged in this process now through all the annals of time.

Session 2 ~ Living From Your Soul 11
We are engaging in it right now, simultaneously, in what we call past, present, and future. It is all
happening at once, right now.
If this seems totally outlandish to you or completely incomprehensible or utterly improbable, I
invite you to consider the statement of William Shakespeare: There are more things in heaven
and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy.
Ive explained to you here the meaning and the purpose and the function of all of life. As Ive said,
if youve heard a lecture of mine before or maybe taken a class of mine, you may have heard
some of this before. Yet now having laid the groundwork, theres moreoh, so much more
to be explored and explained as we engage, in more specic terms, the process of personal
transformation, the process to which this course invites you.
My goodness, weve only just begun. If you think this has been an interesting hour, wait until next
week. Next week Im going to share with you twenty tools that can eliminate the complexity from
your life. Life is really very simple. It was made to be very simple, but when I give you these twenty
tools, youll experience it as being very simple.
I once started writing a book, the title of which was Life is So Simple. Why Does Everyone
Keep Making It So Complicated? Next week we will show you in Lesson Three how to take the
complexity out of life.
Oh, and right now your homework for this week: In the next few days, please ask your Panel
of Helpersyou know, that panel of friends or relatives that you formed last week to help you
through the courseask our panel of helpers the seven simple questions. If you can, with their
permission, record their answers, then put their answers in your course journal. Compare them
with the answers that you have given to these same questions the rst time you asked them
of yourself. Then please write a short three- or four-paragraph essay exploring the diferences
between your answers and the answers that you received from your panel of helpers.
Theres a reason Im asking you to write these short essays. Its not simply to give you random
homework. Its to allow you to create a permanent record of where you are and where you stand
in relationship to other people, those people immediately around you, so that you can make an
informed assessment of where you wish to be as you continue moving forward in your life upon
the earth.
Now, there you have itthis weeks lesson and this weeks homeworkand Ill be here with you
in seven days. Have a good week. Take care of yourself, and goodbye for now.
