Annual Fund and Gifts Coordinator

Reporting to the Director of the Annual Fund, this is a 40-hour per week non-exempt administrative support position.? The primary responsibilities include the processing of all gifts to the School, including cash, credit cards, checks, and stock gifts and generating, tracking, and filing gift receipts.? In addition, the Annual Fund and Gifts Coordinator will work closely with the Development Information Services and Research Coordinator and Business Office to ensure accurate database protocol and recordkeeping.? Additional, primary responsibilities will include providing administrative support and collaboration to the Annual Fund.

Specific responsibilities include:

Recording and processing all gifts to the school including stocks, credit cards, matching gifts, and checks.

P r o v i d i n g a d m i n i s t r a t i v e s u p port and collaboration to the Annual Fund. Running of receipts and preparation of deposit slips. Closing the monthly books and reconciliation with the Business Office as well as with the Annual Fund and campaign administrators Manage pledge reminder and collection process.? Send pledge reminders. Producing higher level reports for trustee meetings, weekly updates on active funds, and monthly reports for Trustee Chair. Creating tracking reports for auditors and managing necessary paperwork for stock transactions, wire transfers, matching gifts and foundation support Creating, importing and exporting reports as requested for the Director of Parent Programs and Annual Fund Development Officer for mass appeals, special mailings, reunion gift programs and other class mailings Initial set-up of RE constituent records including coding of targets, solicitor assignments, ratings, and gift matrix. Global changes and additions to constituent codes Understanding the relational database and how all modules of Raiser?s Edge interface with one another Other duties as required and other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

C o l l e g e D e g r e e p r e ferred and/or two to three years of relevant bookkeeping and database experience required.? General knowledge Heart Rate Monitor Reviews of office procedures and accounting principles are necessary.? A working knowledge of basic computer operating systems and experience with Raiser?s Edge desirable. ?The Annual Fund Gifts Coordinator should possess a sense of confidence coupled with a sense of humor, and a natural inclination towards teamwork and collegiality, and the desire to be a part of a quickly growing and fast-paced Development unit.
