MUNICIPAL HEALTH POLICY Review and Development in 8 Municipalities of Capiz MULTI-SECTORAL DIALOGUE on MATERNAL CHILD HEALTH & NUTRITION (MNCHN) and FAMILY PLANNING (FP) Advocacy to the 8 targeted municipalities of Capiz to solicit inputs and feedbacks for MNCHN/CSR/FP policy & ordinances and leverage municipal/barangay resources for MNCHN/CSR/FP Design and Facilitate

meetings/consultations with PHO/MHO/ Key Health personnel to discuss and formulate DRAFT CSR POLICY/ORDINANCES, LGU Action Plans in the passing of the POLICY/ORDINANCE with inputs from the communities. Map LCE/LGU/NGO/community/private sector support for CSR/FP as baseline data in planning for the conduct of dialogues or forums to generate multistakeholder inputs and support to CSR policy/ordinance Design & Facilitate conduct of POLICY Dialogues/FORA on Commodity Self Reliance (CSR)/Family Planning (FP) involving the Sangguniang Bayan on HEALTH; Sangguniang Bayan on appropriation, Local Health Board, Local Finance Committees and NGO Leaders/Representative of the Municipal Development Council to come up with the MultiSectoral Ordinance on MNCHN/CSR/FP which will be the subject to a PUBLIC FORUM Assist PROVINCIAL HEALTH OFFICE/MUNICIPAL HEALTH OFFICE develop briefing materials and key messages on MNCHN/CSR/FP Conducted SEMINAR-WORKSHOP on GUIDELINES and PRACTICAL TIPS on MNCHN/CSR/FP policy advocacy for use of PHO/MHO/DOHREP and other NGO/CSO champions. Inc., KASAJA, Inc.,;s HAWAK KAMAY PATUNGO SA KAUNLARAN PROJECT, through the FAMILY DEVELOPMENT SESSION (FDS) is assisting the City Links and Municipal Links conduct sessions to least 30% of the beneficiaries in 4 municipalities of Capiz, the Jamindan, Panitan, Maayon and Pontevedra and in the City of Roxas The Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program most popularly known as the 4Ps provides cash assistance to the poor to temporarily alleviate poverty. The HAWAK KAMAY LABAN SA KAHIRAPAN PROJECT of the CapizNED. breaks the intergenerational poverty cycle through investment in human capital through provision of FAMILY MATURITY DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT or ORGANIZING and ENTERPRENEURIAL DEVELOPMENT The PROGRAM is implemented simultaneously in 2 barangays of the municipality of JAMINDAN and another 2 barangays in the City of Roxas through the 4Ps beneficiaries.
