Dear All It is my pleasure to formally present our first annual report and thank to all of those who have contributed their time, feedback and support to the group. The feedback provided especially when we were preparing constitution for registration as an incorporated organisation was great otherwise this step would have not been taken and the group is now fortunate enough to have a team that can oversee the management. Although our first annual report should cover the report from Jan Dec 2013, we have intentionally included past activities so the members can see the growth of the Group after registration. On behalf of my team please accept our heartfelt thanks for all the support that you have provided.

Fatima Khushnud Secretary

Treasurers report
It is absolute pleasure to present the report. We have divided the report in two sections. a. The first section provides the financial report prior to incorporation, when we did neither have an ABN Number nor registered for GST and there was no bank account. All the expenses during this year were personally borne by the members of the Management committee except the ticket sales for Hockey series. b. After incorporation in November 2012, we did not have any activity as we were busy completing necessary details and the bank account was opened only in Jan 2013 so the second section relates to financial report post incoproration. One important thing that needs to be remembered is that as per constitution we need to get our account audited if the associations budget exceeds $4000 annually. The budget did exceed $4000 however the balance in the accounts relates only to grant money and as per contractual requirements can only be used solely for the grant purpose. We did try to find an auditor who can do it pro bono but were unsuccessful. A motion was therefore passed at AGM held on 24th January 2014, that the financial report be accepted and the Group should try to raise funds to cover the cost of audit for the year 2014.

Final word
It is always the community whose support helps us to achieve our objectives. A small group that marked its beginning in August 2011 to support OXFAM concert in raising funds for flood relief in Pakistan followed by an active participation during CHOGM 2011 is now a well-known group. During last two years we have been indebted with the support receive from our friends both in Pakistan and Australia and there are certain names that need to be acknowledged in particular for their overwhelming contribution and time to the success of our activities. Thank you very much and our apologies if we have missed any names. Zarrin S Siddiqui President
