The first ten amendments give americans what are considered our basic rights. Can anyone give me an example of a right we have as americans? ( allow 3 answers). My favorite right we have as americans is Freedom of Speech. Today we are going to work on a worksheet as we read chapter 15 of our social studies textbook. The worksheet has really cool pictures that represent the first ten amendments to the constitution. Your job is to match the picture to the amendment and describe the amendment. We are going to work on the worksheet in pairs for ten minutes and then we are going to work by ourselves to finish it until the end of class. To begin lets get into our writing pairs and start our worksheet. Hand out worksheet. CFU of directions!
