Time 10-15 minutes Activity Introduction: Review what we have learned about health care dealing with our teeth. Talk about the different layers of our teeth. (vocabulary words enamel! cavity! root! crown! dentine! "ul"! gum# Talk about healthy foods vs. non-healthy foods for our teeth. $hat do we use our teeth for% $hy is flossing im"ortant% &emonstrate how we floss our teeth. Activity: The students will "ut "laydoh on a large lego "iece. The "laydoh will be in between the bum"s and all around the bum"s. After that! the students will take a string and floss the "laydoh off the large lego "iece. This is so the students have "ractice with flossing. Closure: &iscussion 'uestions.
