Welcome to the Children, Young People and Social Care Analytical newsletter. This publication is produced quarterly by the CYPSC analytical services unit within the Scottish Government. The newsletter serves to highlight articles, publications, reports, news and events that we have found to be particularly interesting over the past three months and that have relevance to the children, young people and social care policy area. We focus primarily on content relevant to Scotland and the UK. For each item included, we provide web-links to sources and also mark each item should it be linked to a particular policy area(s) for ease of reference. A topic key is provided on each page. The newsletter is primarily targeted at Scottish Government staff but is also available externally via the CYPSC web page and Scottish Government publications list. Please feel free to circulate. We want this newsletter to be useful to you and would therefore welcome any feedback that would help to make the newsletter even better. Please use the email addresses below to get in contact with us. As we approach the holidays, on behalf of the CYPSC analytical service unit have a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year!
