Talk about your future plans

The next step in my future plans concerns my university studies and Ive come to the conclusion that I need to change course. Because Business IT doesnt hold enough interest for me, the modules in the course are not interactive enough for me. So Ive been doing some research on civil engineering and architecture, why? Because when I was younger I used to enjoy designing houses, constructing buildings, lining out the blueprint template in 2D & 3D. This was partly my fathers fault; I can say that because he studied civil engineering and obtained a master degree when he went to university. He had all the necessary instruments when I was growing up to be a technical drafts man, a profession that requires patience & discipline. In todays day and age, students dont need to learn the manual drafting techniques which were required in the past. The days of hand drawing and having equipment scattered around your work station are gone, patience along with a steady hand has been devoured by advancing technology which has become a dominate instrument in all designing sectors. A Software programme has been developed for technicians which is capable of creating a precise dynamic mathematical model. C.A.D Computer Aided-Design allows a user to design tools & machinery from small residential structures, to the largest commercial & industrial concepts, this application paints pictures! A form of art in the industrial industry used in shipbuilding, automobile & aerospace alongside architectural designs, a professional engineer that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical & natural environment build. This is the visual language for engineers with this concept of design you can plan on a larger scale in 2D & 3D simultaneously. Instead of using an extensive amount of paper, editing can be done instantly. The outcomes of my future plans rely on the progression of my university studies. Working alongside the architectural industry, drawing up structures or layouts of buildings or machinery would be my ideal goal. The idea of building something thrills me the concept of doing it on a computer like a game for a profession is the right thing for me. C.A.D can be used to build your ideal house, car, theme park, ect Anything you picture in your mind can be interpreted on onto a computer in any shape or size much quicker than you can do on paper on the other hand if you still want to draw out your ideas you can draw it up and scan it in after, which is another helpful aspect to C.A.D.

Personal Statement
In response to the feedback I received from my teacher, she understood my correlation between the outcome of fear and respect and also the negative and positive connection, which I was trying to express within my blog how the outcome of each word can be the same or miles apart. In response to her comments I added the URL addresses of the definitions I found on the internet, understanding what I wrote in my blog will give you an insight to my thoughts and meaning of those words. My tutors comment on my first draft of my blog made me think of another example which was personal to me and organisation everyone knows about. One was about my phobia Ive recently come to realise and the respect of the police force which I think to a degree is a worldwide understanding. In the whole blog I tried to include the sensation of trust, acceptance, and timorous, positive & negative emotions and how these words can have a massive effect on the outcome, decision or look someone has given the same situation. Despite the different emotions you might go through the outcome could be the same. Moving onto my reflection of my semester and modules, I did pretty badly I reckon but I can say I was only interested in 3 out of my 8 modules over the whole year, also I didnt finish 5 out of 8 course work partly because attendance and ego. The modules I was intrigued with were programming, computer hardware and software architecture & web development because they were the most interactive subjects. However the reason why I didnt like or finish the other modules is was because I felt like I was repeating the work I did in my IT Academy again. Two of my tutors said that if I kept my work from my academy I would have passed the module instantly. The course pieces were morally the same; creating websites relating to technology, the practice of building a computer inside and out, knowledge of the important protocols and there function, the use of HTML coding Etc the only difference between university and my academy is that you dont get as much help in university as would do in my IT Academy. Completing course work on time was a hard thing for me to do, as my punctuality skills arent top notch along. Taking responsibility of my own actions I should have got the work done as soon as I received it which was the downfall towards progression in university. If I am to continue my studies my organisation skill will need verse improvement.
