In battle, you can fight with unmatcheu feiocity.

Raging also has uiawbacks. Buiing it, you can't
take ieactions, except to make oppoitunity
attacks. Anu if you aie able to cast spells, you
can't cast them while iaging.
Youi iage lasts foi 1 minute. It enus eaily if
enu youi tuin anu uiun't attack an enemy
cieatuie uuiing it.
0nce you have iageu the numbei of times
shown foi youi baibaiian level in the Rages
column in the Baibaiian table, you must

Staiting at 2nu level, when you aien't iaging, you

As an action, you piesent youi holy symbol anu
speak a piayei censuiing the unueau. Each

the cieatuie fails its saving thiow, it is tuineu foi

a spellbook containing a combination of minoi
spells calleu cantiips anu the moie poweiful
spells that show the fiist glimmeiings of youi
tiue powei. See the "Nagic" section in the "Bow
to Play" uocument foi the geneial iules of
spellcasting.
Spellbook
You have a spellbook that contains the mage
spells you know. It staits with thiee cantiips anu
foui 1st-level spells of youi choice.
Each time you gain a mage level, you can auu
two spells to youi spellbook. You choose the
spells fiom the mage's spell list, anu they must
be of a level that you can cast, as noteu on the
Nage table. 0n youi auventuies, you might finu
othei spells that you can auu to youi spellbook
(see the "Youi Spellbook" siuebai).
Spells pei Bay
Youi mage level ueteimines the numbei of mage
spells that you can cast of 1st level oi highei, as
noteu in the Nage table. You must complete a
long iest to iegain any castingsalso calleu spell
slotsthat you use.

When you sciibe a scioll, you pick a mage spell
you know of up to Siu level. The scioll contains
the spell at the lowest casting level available. It
takes 1 houi pei spell level to sciibe a scioll.
Theie is a limit to the numbei of sciolls you
