Conclusion of research
Greatest Success
* Our biggest success came from our achieving our initial goal: to better inform our community about the importance of donating blood; as seen by our donor sign up being more successful than the past three years.
Greatest Challenge
* The biggest challenge we encountered was learning to cope with disappointment with our own
expectations; by having far less donors than our anticipated amount actually able to donate, we grew to understand the importance of accounting for the unexpected. One challenge consisted of how it was raining when hosting our car wash.
* We also had many difference along the way, but overall we putted our difference to the side to make a bigger
success at the end.
Conclusion
* We had 105 donors the day of the Blood Drive but due to the low iron 23 people
couldn't donate which lower us down to a 82 donors who actually donated. * People with low Iron did not have the opportunity to donate blood because they weren't eating healthy meals. * In order to raise their iron people should eat more type meals such as meat, beans and spinach. And they should avoid drinking too much soda and ice tea.
