EASTER OUTREACH 2014 This year, Easter will be celebrated on April 20th. On that day, God will prompt millions of people around the world to attend church. For some reason, people who dont normally go to church will make a decision to do so on that day like no other time of the year. What can you do? Invite Your Friends Would you consider inviting your unchurched family and friends to church this Easter? They are all more likely to say yes to an Easter invitation than at any other time of the year. Hands down, personal invitation is the number one evangelism tool in the church. Would you commit to invite at least three un-churched friends and/or family members and let us know on your Connection Card so that we can plan and pray? Prayer Please commit to praying daily for our Easter Outreach. Pray that the 1550 invitations sent to the new move-ins in our community would be effective and that the personal invitations the members of the congregation extend to unchurched family and friends would be well received. Pray that the Holy Spirit would bless these labors. Joint Good Friday Service A Good Friday Service will be held at New City Fellowship OPC on the corner of Burton and Eastern! This will be a great opportunity for joint worship and praise and a public proclamation that gospel ministry is happening on that corner of S.E. Grand Rapids. The service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Nursery will be provided. This will be the first major event at New City. Lets join together and make it a memorable evening of worship, prayer and praise! Easter Activities You and your guests are invited to a special Easter Breakfast on Easter morning from 9:00 AM 10:00 AM. Our morning worship service will be held at 10:30 AM and there will be no Sunday School that day.
