Drew Pollock drew.pollock@griffithuni.edu.au 0422 803 155 Im a 22-year-old IT professional, working in IT support whilst studying a Bachelor of Multimedia/Bachelor of Information Technology at Griffith University, Gold Coast. I am finalising my studies in the year 2014, with a view to graduate in December. Im aspiring to be a well-polished graphic designer, web developer and photographer. Ive been honing my skills by designing freelance for several years in conjunction with full time work, completing commercial, personal and academic projects. This portfolio is to showcase my work in the design industry, and portray my experience working as an IT professional in support roles. My goal is to create beautiful, captivating, intriguing designs. ! ! Drew Pollock University of New England Client Services 2013-Present I started at UNE in mid-2013 on the IT Service Desk working in IT drew.pollock@griffithuni.edu.au support. To date I have undertaken full service desk training for customer service and troubleshooting IT faults. I have also 0422 803 155 successfully completed the Information Technology Infrastructure Library certification. IT support for desktop standard operating environments, networking, internet and software, Managing up to 30 open tickets at any time, Providing a high level of customer service, managing clients accounts and building rapport. Freelance Graphic and Web Design 2010-Present Ive been working in an ad hoc freelance capacity to build my portfolio, creating websites, logos, branding packages, and mobile applications. Telstra Head Technician 2010-13 I started working in a Telstra retail store in 2010. Throughout my 3 years at Telstra I grew into the role of head technician for two retail stores and one business centre on the Tech Bar service, training several employees in both customer service and technical roles. Customer service, sales, complaint handling and resolution, Troubleshooting IT issues pertaining to internet, networks, hardware, software, mobiles and desktop systems, Training and mentoring staff for customer service and Tech Bar roles, Managing several jobs and accounts simultaneously to deliver excellent customer experience both in store and after-sales.
