CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT Classroom Management is defined as the process of establishing and maintaining the internal environment of the group and the classroom conditions for the attainment of educational goals. It consists of all the provisions and procedures necessary to

maintain an environment in which instruction and learning can occur. Because it aims to direct the efforts of both students and teachers at the important goals and tasks of schooling, it enables students to spend their time on learning tasks rather than on nonessentials. Our cooperating teachers are good classroom manager, they planned the activities very well, they were quite organized in terms of the materials to be used in

instruction, and they have the authority and the responsibility in the classroom. They are overall classroom manager. Theyve encouraged neatness in the class activities,

promoted accuracy, kept everything in order and conserved time and energy. They ensure that students know what to do and have the time and materials with which to do it. Without it, classes are neither efficient nor not effective. Successful management is achieved by careful planning, attention to business, explicit instructions, and thorough follow-up.
