Yo u can easily add your SWF or IMAGE (JPEG, GIF, and PNG) files into FPF package. You don't have to use Flash software to make your flipping book by FPF (except f or Source Code Versions). * Can I see a comparison between the versions? -----------------------------------------------------------We show our online demos and some live users of FPF in Online Demo page. Please look at them for features and customizations. http://www.flashpageflip.com/Onlin e-Demo.asp Pro PHP and ASP Versions have same features however their web server requirements are different. With Pro Versions, you have to install admin panel t o make your flipping books. You cannot use it offline and on unavailable server. You have to use it on available web server. Please firstly ensure that your web server has to provide requirements. Working of Basic XML Version works like Fre e Version. You can use it if you can use Free FPF without any difficulty or you haven t server which supports ASP or PHP. You can use it offline or online. * Which version of Flash you use to construct this software? -----------------------------------------------------------Flash Page Flip is developed with Adobe Flash 8 and ActionScript 2.0 * Is there an executable file to install? -----------------------------------------------------------FPF is not an executable software. Please look at the documentation for instruct ions. * Which browsers does your object support? -----------------------------------------------------------FPF works without any problem on last versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Fir efox, Safari and other principal browsers. It needs Flash Player 8 or + * How can I use it right to left like Arabic/Hebrew books? -----------------------------------------------------------LeftBegin option is not another version, it s not Arabic/Hebrew Version. It s same v ersion but firstly FPF becomes to be opened like current, then it automatically goes to the last page. For that reason it hasn t go to page button. It may cause con fusion. If you want to use it you can just rename MagazineLeftBegin.swf to Magaz ine.swf file. * Can I use PDF files with your object? -----------------------------------------------------------FPF doesn t support PDF file format as other PDF based page flip engines. Therefor e it doesn't need any PDF component on your server. You don't have to use it on our server or you don't pay any extra charge monthly or yearly. You need to conv ert your PDF file page by page into SWF or JPEG files. We don't have an advice f

We recommend maximum size 1024 x1024 px and resolution 72dpi. * Can I use sound and video on the pages? -----------------------------------------------------------Yes. You can use SWF pages with embedded, uploaded sounds and video-files. To in clude video, please refer to the sample file (07.fla) in the "/Source" folder. T he video doesn't have to be embedded on the timeline as I've shown (dynamically loading an FLV or SWF would work fine too) but the key is that the video CAN'T s tart on the first frame. This WILL cause problems. I'd recommend using the onVis ible and onInvisible functions mentioned above to control the video playback.

* Can I use WMV, MP4, AVI, MPEG files with your object? -----------------------------------------------------------Flash Page Flip is not supported these formats. But you can use FLV videos or MP 3 sounds in your SWF formatted pages. * Can I use contents and links on pages? -----------------------------------------------------------Yes. You can use SWF pages with active elements (buttons, for example) in them. * How can I create link easy to another pages? -----------------------------------------------------------Please refer 02.fla in the source folder. If yo u want to remove membership blockage on the pages, you can type +1 then total page s to membership page in admin panel (i.e. you have 50 pages you can type 51 ). You don t have to edit the Source Codes to make it. If you can edit FPF Source Codes, when you completely remove membership objects you can still use print feature bu t you cannot use marker and note features because these need member data (i.e. M ember ID).

* How can I change background sound? -----------------------------------------------------------You can select bgimage parameter (bgimage="0") in XML file, if you don't image and sound. Sound file is called external by Magazine.swf file. You e own sound files as same names when you change loop sound. For example, select bgimage="1" (park) in XML file also you can rename silent.mp3 to 3 in mp3 folder.

* Can I change the name of buttons? -----------------------------------------------------------Yes. You can change with Lang.txt file. Versions of Flash Page Flip support so m any languages. FPF language file (txt/Lang.txt) supports many special characters when saving as we declared, although FPF doesn't support some characters. Never theless FPF Source Code Versions supports all special characters if you embed us ed font to dynamic text areas in FLA file. * Is it possible to change background image? -----------------------------------------------------------You can select the background image, color, or sound by selecting bgimage parame ter but it s not possible to put your own background images without the source fil es. bgimage="0" (no bg image)( bgcolor becomes active) bgimage="1" (park) bgimage=" 2" (beach) bgimage="3" (office) * How can I change background image with Source Codes? -----------------------------------------------------------You are able to swap your background images with beach.jpg (500x375 px), office. jpg (256x256 px), park.jpg (380x253 px) in linkages folder from Magazine.fla lib rary or you can edit/develop .fla file for adding your new images. Please open M agazine.fla file, look at the graphics folder in the Library.
